Don't you have a microwave? You can buy one for under $40 in case you forget thawing meat.
 
I'm thinking about the tornado that is supposed to pass just barely south of me within the next ten minutes!! Hanging out in the basement for a while....

Put it (wrapped in packaging, of course) in a pan of lukewarm water. It'll thaw much faster. I do that in a pinch.

We do have a piece of crap microwave, but we never use it. It's one hubby and I gave to MIL 16 years ago. In the new house, we will not have a microwave as I do not like them.
 
thinking how pissed I am at someone for using my name to cover his/her ass for spreading rumors about my friend. I am waiting to get on VP with my friend and I will demand her to tell me who lied about me. Once I find out who it is, I will confront that person tmw. I despite getting my name involved in gossip when I had nothing to do with it.

That's not even a friend to steep that low. I hope it gets cleared up. I know how you feel.
 
Am thinking that it was a wonderfully sunny day today. Still in short sleeved top.

Also thinking the skydeck in Chicago looks cool. I bet some people won't venture out on that.

The layover is at Union Station which is about a 5 min walk from the tower. I'm traveling from DE to UT via train and if the trains are on time, I should have about 3-1/2 hours to wander around (there's 5-1/4 hours between when I'm supposed to arrive and when the next train leaves).
