Go and get the football team over and have them shake the TV sideways until the color is gone.

Honestly, my Dad went out to get something at Best Buy and I have no idea what he's planning to do. It seems that the TV is not good anymore... it's the "phat" one with a "box" behind it. What is that called?

I grew up with the nice slim tv's (kind of)... :giggle:

The old kind is CRT. The newer ones are LCD (or LED or Plasma).
 
I'm thinking I stayed up enough today and am hoping I can get some sleep tonight. Maybe if I tie hubby down he won't toss and turn. :giggle:

Yup. Thank you. It's the picture tube or CRT problem and is showing images with red and blue outlines. I don't know how am I gonna fix it.

Dunno what the exact problem. Blue, red, and Green CRT. Anyone familar with that? :shock: Looking my tv problem up...

I'm thinking: About the picture challenge I'm doing on FB and the 16th day picture that I put up today...It was " Day 16- Picture of someone who inspires you " I put a pic of my grandpa who died March 4th 2008. Him along his wife ( Abuela Carmen ) and my dad's mom, abuela Elsa, were/are the most inspiring people in my life. Their love, their life story, their devotion, their passions, their triumphs, their failures...everything that made them human, only made them perfect in my eyes. There is no one on the face of this Earth that could ever take their place. I miss them so much just typing this up made me shed a fear tears...I think me missing them badly is the reason I'm afraid of going to the cemetery to visit their graves. Cause I would just drop there and cry until I dehydrate.
 
A random guido just poked me on FB and I have no idea who he is and we're not even friends and no mutual friends either...

WTF? I didn't know that you could poke someone who isn't your friend...

I keep trying to warn everyone about what's happening with facebook...they are allowing 3rd party to access your page..I joined FB when it first started and posted pics of myself and dog and motorcycles....and 2 months later my pics show up on 2 different sites I was furious and wrote each sites webmaster and had my stuff deleted. then I wrote facebook and their reply was that they have a privacy poicy but there are so many hackers out there they can not be held responsible for something like that....I am really sorry that happened to you,,geez at least it could have been someone of interest to you..smile..UGH...haven't you noticed on TV FB is attached to so many products..and all those employees at those companies , who have some hacker knowledge can get to your page...scary huh? I wish you Peace and the next time someone pokes you...smiling..it's someone of interest that

I think you can poke anyone on FB, even if they are not your friend.
When I "liked" AD on FB, I got a message from some random guy saying that he liked what I had to say, and "didn't know angels like me walked the earth."

Weird...
