I keep trying to warn everyone about what's happening with facebook...they are allowing 3rd party to access your page..I joined FB when it first started and posted pics of myself and dog and motorcycles....and 2 months later my pics show up on 2 different sites I was furious and wrote each sites webmaster and had my stuff deleted. then I wrote facebook and their reply was that they have a privacy poicy but there are so many hackers out there they can not be held responsible for something like that....I am really sorry that happened to you,,geez at least it could have been someone of interest to you..smile..UGH...haven't you noticed on TV FB is attached to so many products..and all those employees at those companies , who have some hacker knowledge can get to your page...scary huh? I wish you Peace and the next time someone pokes you...smiling..it's someone of interest that

I know what you mean. I'm really not worried about it since I already set my privacy settings and no one can access my information except see my default picture and an ability to message/poke/friend me. Facebook has done a lot with their privacy settings in the last few years to prevent hackers and you have an option to keep other companies from using your photos and accessing your page.

I ignored his poke. Not interested.

I know, I can convert these easily. 90 - is around 35 degree celcius, hot day and then 60 gets a bit cooler than the 90

We hit 92 and are expecting it to be that way again for the next 2-3 days. Lows into the upper 70's.

Grew up in Phx, AZ where the average temps were 115 degrees over the summer.

But it's a dry heat! :P

I dont live in Phx anymore..havent since 1999. I live in Maryland now.

However, almost all of my family, inlcuding my parents, still live there. My mom is getting her A/C unit fixed next week. My dad always has a working unit.

swimming pool.........hello?

I grew up without a swimming pool so I went to my friend's house to swim in her pool. The one whom I had dinner with in Baltimore a few weeks ago. I think I posted a pic of the two of us int he Pic of you thread a few weeks ago. She had a pool.

Sometimes, you're lucky you can go and swim at their pool.
My aunt and uncle and even my niehgbour has a pool, me and my family mostly go to my aunt and uncle's anytime.

Yes, it was but at 90 to 100 degrees, the dry heat works. However, at 115 to 120 degrees, it felt like your face was shoved in an oven set at 200 degrees. It wasnt pleasant. Toooo hot and all of us are going in August this summer! I havent been to Phx in 4 years so my body may go in shock!

Also, my grandmother lived a few blocks away from us at that time...my brother and I would ride our bikes to her house during the summer just to use her pool while she and her hubby were at work. We had the keys to her gate so we just went into her backyard, swam for several hours, and then lock it up before going home. It was great!

My husband doesnt mind cuz he loves the heat. He would love to go both times of the year especially at Christmas time.

This year we are going there along with my brother and his girlfriend because it is my grandmother's 80th birthday bash.

We already got the flight tickets and all 5 of us will be there for 2 weeks so we plan on traveling to Vegas, Grand Canyon, and to California. My brother's girlfriend has never been on the west coast. My hubby did live in California but has never been to Vegas so I cant wait to take him to Vegas. He will go WILD in Vegas..that's for sure. LOL! My brother and I have been to Vegas so many times when we both lived in Phx. I miss it.
