What are you thinking about? Part IV

All of the local dentists require payment in full for all visits if you do not have insurance. Sucks, but that's rural America for ya.

No, there is no Medicaid program in AR for my age group. We have ARKids1st Medicaid insurance for children 0-18, and pregnant women who are pregnant qualify for Medicaid up until 8 weeks after giving birth.

At best I'm SOL as far as insurance goes. The only way I'm going to get halfway decent insurance is to get a good job. The way things have been for the last several years, I'm doubtful this will happen anytime soon.

the other qualifying factors are your disability, low income, and your child.

But I don't draw disability, I have no desire to. I would prefer to work than to draw disability, just my personal choice.

why not? it's your money too. you've paid tax for it. if it's what it takes to pick up yourself, then do it because in the end... you'll be repaying back by tax anyway. beside - you can do both. and how can you effectively work if you're sick? the sooner, the better.

don't let the "pride" gets in the way. it's silly IMO.

I'm thinking I'l need to go soon so i can get oil and filter changed on my car.

20th anniversary is next week. Anyone have any brilliant ideas for a romantic celebration? Need something special.

I am sorry, bluelove. Hope shes feeling better today. that is scary! keep us posted to see she s getting better by tonight and tomorrow.
:ty: I took her to the doctor late yesterday afternoon (new doctor) and he orderered bloodwork though the antibiotics could skew the results (she had only taken one so far so we waited till after the bloodwork this morning before she took more). She also had told him her breathing was a little "funny" so he ordered chest xrays. Just got word that that came back clear.
She also, not surprisingly, has a fever blister, so I'm trying to get them to call in a prescription for a cream for that.

I think she'll be fine...if she takes it easy for the next few days, at least.

So doctor does not know what went wrong with her condition yet? Good to know that your girl is doing ok so far. Hope she feels much better by tomorrow.

I am very bad headache because worst yesterday sometimes!

I'm thinking that I need a day of relaxation and full rest where I am not needed for ANYTHING. Ah well - that's wishful thinking right now.

That I'm glad to be home from work, and am enjoying a nice glass of red wine. My reward ! :)

I'm thinking MIL does not want us using the oven tonight. She is buying pizza for everyone. I shouldn't have it, but I will deal with the consequences.

Yes, wishful thinking, Kristina....sometimes I wish I were on a stranded Island with beach boys at my own beck and call!....Not having to make any decisions, pay any bills, cook any dinners, wash any clothes...wishful thinking, huh?:aw:
