I'm thinking MIL does not want us using the oven tonight. She is buying pizza for everyone. I shouldn't have it, but I will deal with the consequences.

why not just have your own food?

I am thinking this tickle feeling my throat has to go away, allergies are no fun!

Been way too hot to even attempt to cook in the oven..Makes the AC work twice as hard.... I know my light bill will hit the roof this month with the heatwave!! UGH!

Mine already has!...But cook I do (in the oven), as I detest frying foods. Have a fan in my kitchen whenever it gets too hot, keep the bedroom & baths doors closed so other areas will be somewhat cooler.

I have been grilling and frying food outside. :) I have to admit I used the oven two days ago to broil some fish. And it took a Very LONG time to cool the house back down.

Try taking an allergy med (I'm taking Claritin) every night before you go to bed, whether you feel like you need it or not. This was a suggestion from my allergist. I would say about 75% of my mornings are better now (so, not entirely perfect, but better overall). It lets you breathe easier throughout the night so you have a better day, supposedly.

True. I take Zyrtec every night year around and it is very helpful to overall health and comfort.

Uhhhhggggg to allergies!

Alleycat, got my Claritin right by my side :D

Hubby. son & I are on Claritin. Daughter takes Zyrtec. I still suffer from allergies that the claritin will not help, but I can't take anything else.

20th anniversary is next week. Anyone have any brilliant ideas for a romantic celebration? Need something special.

Is it possible fr you and hub to take a night trip away and have the night to yourself?

Is there something you and hubby wanted to do for a while but never got around to it?

Anyway, I found this special. Thought it's cute. Sugar Land / West Houston 1-Day Deals

Something to spoil yourself and your hubby. :)

Now have a great 20th anniversary!

I use the Walgreens brand, over the counter....works for me. Also when I've got itchy, watery eyes, I use Eye Itch Relief, the Walgreens brand (about $12)...works for me too....And whenever I have a slight sore throat, I pop an allergy pill...

That's why I worked so hard the other day vacuuming up the dust in the A/C vents....we were "sneezing". so I do vacuum the A/C filter every day/other day and change it every 2 weeks....I'm allergic to dust mites, so I clean my carpets once a month, sometimes twice a month....would love to have wood floors, tho'.

Romance after 20 years? Hasn't it all been done?

Seriously, dress up, do your hair, apply the make up, and go out to dinner in a restaurant that you would normally not go to. Make the night about the 2 of you and no one else. And congratulate yourselves on being able to do what so many have not. Twenty years is a testiment to the characters of you both. I admire you.

I am sad my client moved on my house I was hurting feeling my best friends is very client is very smart computer :( moved I think so focus my feeling right hard!

I thinking about the many people I have cleaned out from my FB, Skype and ooVoo contact/friends lists.

Thinking how happy I am with the results of my bathroom project!!! My bathroom was an ugly buttercup yellow with 80s vanity sink, medicine cabinet, and mirror. Ripped them all out and started from very scratch with paint, new toilet, new vanity, cupboards, taking out the recessed medicine cabinet and putting drywall over it, and new accessories. :)

Oh yea..today was crazy. I dont know if you saw my FB status...I spent 3 hours today moving furniture out and then moving my furniture into my new classroom. yesterday, I spent 4 hours moving the other teacher's stuff out and mine in and today I did the furniture. Then, I came home to help hubby finish up the bathroom today..another 4 hours. Then 2 hours of cleaning up the mess. I think my body will be very sore tmw.

Thanks!
