I am thinking what book should I devour next
 
I am thinking about going to bed, I keep thinking it is Sunday night, but no it is only Saturday night. This week has got me confuzzled. :dizzy: G'night everyone. :wave:

I'm thinking: YAY! Finally found the Spanish Sign Alphabet :) Now I know the signs for "Ch, LL and Ñ "
 
I'm thinking how much I love my Mum (mom). After a conversation about my deafness, learning sign language, and about my involvement on AD forum - my Mum says she wants me to teach her sign language. (It had been quite a shock to her when about a year ago, she found out that I was severely-deaf and not HOH like she had been told by the specialists at the Hearing Centre 36 years ago.) Thanks Mum.

That's awesome! Good on your mum for wanting to learn some signs now.

I hope she calls and gets an appointment. Dementia sufferers aren't just those with the dementia, it is the entire family. Is there a support group nearby that you can tap into for help??

It seems we don't qualify as there are too many people in the home and we should be able to support each other. This area of Florida has just too many things like this. I am the a big area for the retirees.
 
Things are going good today. Mom and I are working together to take down my Christmas Village and get it packed. We worked together to put the pork roast into the crock pot and get dinner working. We also went together to grocery shop and all is well. I think it's mostly "sun-downers" I have to deal with and I am mentally preparing myself for it.

Hubby, son, daughter and MIL got the yard decorations put away. Now I get to rest and this evening, get lesson plans done for my teens. They start school again tomorrow after a couple of months off.

Wow! I've never known a support group that would exclude for those reasons! I guess I learned something today. I find that really sad.

You know, you always amaze me re: how much you have on your plate, and how well you manage. I truly do admire you.
