condoms?:laugh2:

some tools to fix the dent in my bumper and a 18" bungie cord to modify my "race" pedals for the playstation to have more tension and better braking...I'm losing time by not having that tension.

Everytime I go to Home Depot, I want to buy a lot more than what I budgeted for.:giggle:

I wish I had more reason to buy things there; I don't own a house yet.

Home Depot for me, too. I ran out of ...actually I don't know what they are called, but something that is kind of a nut/bolt but the nut goes inside the bolt..it's for my daughter's 'new' bed. I need 7 more. So I'm taking one there and pray they can match it and let me buy 7 more. lol

You know what's weird? I have never step a foot in Lowe's. I don't know why. It is close to where I live, but I've always been a "Home Depot" customer. lol

Shel90,

I'm so sorry to hear about this. :(

Thank you everyone.

:( oh Shel, am late in reading, I'm so sorry!

hubby and I were at Home Depot yesterday getting paint for the spare room. We chose an light olive/aqua green for main color. Trying to prep house for selling. We've been to Lowe's too but I think both hubby and my dad like Home Depot better. Don't know why...

sorry to read about your headache too, Tavis, hope you feel better:aw:

Coincidental...I was looking at paint samples today trying to decide on a color for the downstairs guest room. Decided on an olive-sage green.:P I love earth tones.

Just read about the death, shel. I missed your post. So sorry.

Will they have some people available for kids and staff to talk to when they return to school? These things can be so tough for everyone.

I don't think we have the same tastes in furniture. I love Minimalist furniture - especially the German kind. I would use mostly neutrals with splashes of bold color like red. :giggle:

I just realized that I have not bough Eggnog this year. I always swear I won't buy it due to diabetes but then I cave in. It's New year and I still haven't gotten any.

:D Jilio :hmm: re: wall colors..I really like earthy tones too - most especially various shades of subtle green. I also really like brighter colors so I'd enjoy red too like what you thought, deafskeptic, , but since we're trying to sell the house, we're going by the realtor and painter suggested.

Nod. I remember my parents painting the kitchen a bright white after years of it being in dark red paint. They said they thought the white was tacky but since they needed to sell the house, it would sell better if kitchen was white.

Personally I don't think white kitchens are tacky and are much more preferable to cave like decor.

I think I'd like a red kitchen with some hints of white or yellow. Cheery but not hyper-

I am thinking that there are not enough hours in the day. Got the Christmas tree down and ornaments packed back up. Tomorrow, the village gets packed up while hubby and son put away all the yard decorations and daughter gets all the lights put away. MIL is responsible for her own crap. I'm tired of dealing with it.

The color that my parents chose for the kitchen was anything but cheery. They chose a very dark shade of red and painted the doors and trim and windows with that color. They had patterened wallpaper to match.

:hmm: yeah, I'd like a lighter red, maybe a creamy red. Different on trim.

I have slow my internet computer system! tough!
