Awww.. sorry to hear. Where did you learn? My ideal dream is to learn in Hawaii. They got the cleanest water. I am going to learn in Malibu, CA.

Nothing broke, a few pic frames got knocked down and other things. Called my uncle to let him know his condo is ok and the pets are shaken up especially, Bruiser (chihuahua) and kitty is hiding. It was an experience, I am upstairs, it was a quick jolt.

Thinking - Florida is out to take all of a person's money. Man oh man.

I had to apply for a duplicate title for our Expedition as I can't find the one we had. It came in yesterday's mail, so I called the tag office to find out how much to transfer the title and get new plates. Are you ready?!! $412.40. That's insane!! Insurance down here is bad enough because of the hurricanes, but really - $412 just to get a vehicle licensed?

Have to wait a week or so until my check comes in.

If you are just applying for a title change from Missouri to Florida it will be less than $50

If you are changing the name you will have to pay the sales tax on the vehicle. If the vehicle was a gift....no tax but an affidavit may be necessary

Duplicate titles are usually under $20.
