What are you thinking about? Part II

I passed my driver's test! :) I can now legally drive alone (scary thought, huh?) My only restriction is that I can't drive with more than one person under the age of 19 between 12AM-5AM... and I'm sleeping during that time anyway. :P I also have higher insurance rates. :( But other than that, everything is pretty well the same as a graduated license.

Congratulations!

in NYC - we can surf the net to order the groceries and have it delivered to you

You can do that here too, but I am too cheap to pay the fee.

How much does it cost in NY?

not that expensive. some are free. some are as cheap as $5-10. just tip them.

Congrats, man! :D

It is my understanding that you cannot drive on highways like 417, 416 and 174 because of the restrictions for G2 license holders. I hope I am wrong about it.

Recently my nephew passed his permit exam.

I better get ready to go to school, back to work in the classroom :)

Way to go, Loghead!

Thanks, Royale! :)

No, that's for G1 license holders. When I had my G1, I couldn't drive on the 400 series highways without my driving instructor. Now with my G2, I essentially have all the rights that a graduated license holder has, except for the fact that I can only have 1 teenage passenger between 12AM and 5AM. I also have higher insurance because it's a lower level. I haven't been on the 417 since October when I passed my driver's ed., so I'm going to wait until I have a more experienced driver by my side to try going back on the 417. :P A couple of my friends and I are planning on going into Ottawa soon now that I have my G2, and I told them that we would go through the back way because I hadn't taken the 417 since October so I didn't want them to be my test subjects.

Congrats to your nephew! I remember when my dad first took me out driving with my G1... I started behind a Shopper's Drug Mart. :P

Congrats, loghead!

My brain is fried. My kids are nocturnal and it's starting to get to me.

Well finished painting my fingernails green for tomorrow.

Thinking about painting my toe nails too! So I can wear my sandals to work. :hmm:

I'm doing laundry right now so I will have green to wear for tomorrow. Thought about putting a green streak in my hair with food coloring, but am afraid it won't wash out!
