If by that word, you meant pentobarbital... You misspelled it... Being as "OCD" as you claim to be about spelling, I'm going to say it wasn't a typo, either. If you're going to use big words at least spell them correctly. Otherwise, just say sedative. Being as the sentence indicated it will all be over soon... I'm assuming it is not a sleep aid... Look, there's another word you could have used instead of butchering a word! :D

Yes, I did misspell it. Wasn't quite sure what it was missing. And no, that's not how I want to go. Although the sleep would be nice.

I thought you're a walking dictionary....

Very simple.... e-ticket have QR code that the conductor scan with it.

Yeah, I have plans to do that this year. Gotta use up my e-voucher first, and then I'll go electronic. I do have the app on my phone for that. :) I just need to figure out how to properly use it.

Oh I know that. That's not the problem. The problem is similar to the one I had earlier, when I discovered that I couldn't reserve the #392 train for the day back here, June 1st. Now, I'm sure that was because of the Memorial Day holiday the week before.

reviewing and comparing between Chase Sapphire Preferred Card and Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard since I travel a lot and I use CC a lot.

it appears that Barclay has a slightly better reward but a big negative is that it has no CHIP which is pretty important to have because many countries use it so I'm leaning toward Chase :hmm:

Chase is awesome. I can use my card anywhere in the city, or even on home visits. I wouldn't change banks anytime soon, and also, my Dad says that card is a good one.

gardeners are here so love go in garden but if I do the gardeners think I watching them

Walking to the Metra now. All is quiet on Tuesday morning. Will take the train to Ogilvie Transportation Center, walk south 2 blocks to Chicago Union Station, and then head back home on the 7:25 AM Metra.

You're talking about a debit card... that is a crap load different than a credit card.... :squint:

Jiro, I've had Chase Sapphire for a good bit now... No issues thus far. I have found a couple of better rewards but only slightly better for the most part. The fact that Chase is so responsive and international is what keeps me with them. :)

^^ its because they hire people to CHASE people and money

And I forgot my reservation number. Now power walking back to the Metra

that's what the reviews say about Chase's customer service. of all other services.... Chase got the highest mark. when calling them, they actually get a person instead of machine.

I just realize that I already have Bank of America Travel CC and it has nice reward program. I'm gonna try it out with my BoA Travel CC first... give it a couple months... and see see because of no annual fee

I have a bunch of credit cards so I kinda lost track of it  they're all kept in my other wallet... the aristocrat type where it doesn't fold the bill

Waiting for the train, and IT BETTER NOT GO EXPRESS ON ME AGAIN like it did last month. Anyway ....

:laugh2: Well as long as you pay them on time it doesn't really matter how many you have! Well... to a degree, I suppose?

I only have two credit cards; one is my Chase Sapphire and the other is through my credit union Achieva. ( I only got a second credit card because in order to qualify for a freaking mortgage they said I had to have three revolving lines of credit and at that time I only had two; my car and my Chase credit card. ) *JERKS* Anyway... Yes, Chase has excellent customer service, I don't think I've ever talked to a machine... which is my favorite thing in the world... Plus any time I've needed a new card I can just go into any branch and they make one right there! It's great! That has to be my favorite... Anyway, can't hurt ya! If you do a lot of international traveling that is, it might be your better bet. If customer service is important to you ( some people don't care ) it's also worth it. Those people always seem happy to be there... Not quite sure how... I didn't work in my customer service job long... but when I did...( Pre-college ) I HATED IT!!! Seriously though, they have to pay those people pretty well... or feed them happy pills at the start of every day... :laugh2:

We all get that you're just trying to hit 8000 posts... give it a rest already.

It's already a depressingly large amount of posts in such a short amount of time here as is!

Number of posts don't matter to me. And I hate rush hour. :|

Ah, I forgot to mention a critical piece of info. I go to Union Station, I'd be paying cash. Those cost at least $20 more, but considering that I'm departing on the 30th, it's gonna be higher than usual.

??
There's no difference between paying cash & paying any other way. And buying this far in advance should not affect the cost of the ticket that much. And I thought you were using the voucher.

I am. It's in my pocket now. I'll be using just over half of it today, so not too bad. And paying on-line is far cheaper than this. It's almost $60, but on-line it was $34.

BTW, ChicagoBlue, you can't use the App for disability discounts on Amtrak. You can do it on the website, though.

I don't know why you think buying online is cheaper than paying in person. Compare the prices when you get to the station. They should be the same.
