Stay safe Reba! No storms here where I am (yet). Not sure if there was or will be any where my niece is in SC either.
Boy am I glad I waited to read AD until AFTER I talked to people about a possible job. My brain would have melted and would not have functioned.
anything under 100 dollars is NOT an arm and a leg. It's peanuts. Now for someone like me with a super limited income it might be as some of my bills is more than half my income. You on the other hand CB DO have a steady 'income' so don't bitch about an arm and a leg. If you budget correctly it would not be a concern.
I am a little surprised that there is a difference in price between online and at the station- that doesn't make sense. They do sometime have internet specials (like some airlines) but the difference isn't THAT huge from my experience. Used to ride Amtrak quite often and a relative worked for them for many decades.
Ow.. wow that was painful to try to follow....
I am currently looking at my Amtrak e-ticket, and the Amtrak app that I have for the exact same two trains, and on my e-ticket, I paid $28.90 for each train #393 and #392. Now, the app shows something entirely different-- Train #393 shows a $34 ticket price, and Train #392 shows a $23 ticket price. Still don't think it's the same?
