Well, that was awkward!

I must have logged into AllEnglish.com when I wasn't looking or something. :dunno:

:laugh2:

I think there must be something in the air tonight. People are going to great lengths to try to make themselves feel good about themselves by projecting a sense of superiority.

Well, it makes the argument silly. The "otherwise" and "would" in Kokonut's post refer to "situation contrary to fact," i.e., subjunctive. In other words, Obama made no such charges.

The question that followed, "what charges?" made no sense, because the whole point of Kokonut's post was that *there were no such charges.*

It really does help to understand the fine points of English grammar from time to time.

What an unbelievably superiority driven and audist remark to make.

Perhaps you should try online tutoring instead of hanging out at AD.

It would help to lose the consending attitude when you're tutoring your students, Beach girl.

Oh, brother. I really was trying to explain and answer the question you put of "So?"

I probably should go in for doing some tutoring, because if someone who claims to hold a PhD can't comprehend fairly basic English, there is a crying need for it.

Perhaps you should try to use your time to help child rapist stay out of jail rather than hang out here.

You're going overboard with this post. We are not here for grammar lessons.

You could also learn to tell one poster from another. That was deafskeptic you were responding to.:laugh2:

Motivation is obvious.:laugh2:

You should probably see if someone can remove that bug from your butt.

Thanks, BG. At least you tried. I really appreciated that.

Here's a box of tissues. I see some brown stuff on some noses.:giggle:

Go back and read post#197. It was you who posted "SO"
Your last post must have been made when you were looking at the mirror and talking to yourself.
