Well, it makes the argument silly. The "otherwise" and "would" in Kokonut's post refer to "situation contrary to fact," i.e., subjunctive. In other words, Obama made no such charges.

The question that followed, "what charges?" made no sense, because the whole point of Kokonut's post was that *there were no such charges.*

It really does help to understand the fine points of English grammar from time to time.

Huh??? It is a subjective statement, and a dishonest one at that. Just because Obama cannot prove something doesn't make him automatically dishonest. :roll:
