There were no camera heading their way at all. He just left the car in corner close to the traffic intersection and walked over where the deaf Native American was walking.

The reason why the cop shot him is because he was carrying the small knife for carving and his board as he was a artist. He had just finished his meal before he was heading to walk across the street. The deaf Native American was not a criminal at all. He was deaf and could not understand the cop so he want to approach him to better understand what the cop was saying. But the cop got panic and want to shoot him for approaching him. The cop killed him. I was sooo pissed off at the cop for doing this. Dang him.

So if the Black, big teenager who happened to be 18 was jaywalking across the street. He was going to raise his hands up and said "Don't shoot me".

You have to remember that this is a media and other reporters trying to cover up the stories about him in different episodes. If there was a camera showing on the part of the sidewalk or at the store, then that would be prove enough for evidence. But mostly you all got riled up about what the media reports were saying along with the pictures which might not be him at all. The protest was peaceful and there were other who are not protesting got into the hassle making trouble.

To me, that is a lot of shots firing at the teenager with 6 shots and it is not okay at all. The cop would have shot once on his leg to make him fall down and arrest him if he is not hurting him like choking or something. There has to be a right way to properly arrest him without killing him or hurting him. You all think that people of color like Blacks, Native Americans, Chinese, Koreans, Mexicans or any other diversity including the homeless and disability people. There is a lot of wrong with many cops and security guards, too not having a good way to try to understand their plights. They have to make the evidence and if there was no evidence, then all is lost which is not good. The victim and probably suspect which he was not, need to prove until reasonable doubt if he was guilty or not. That will be at the court to prove for evidence. So let it go with talking about riot and blaming the Black young teenager just because you think he was robbing the store. That is enough of all those talks on what you think which you are not there to witness for truth. :(

you have to understand this about the area, I know it for a fact, They have sidewalks but dont use them, they chose to walk in the streets, not jaywalking across, it is walking along with or agaisnt traffic which also obstructs traffic. That was why the officer told them to get out of the street, it is also illegal to walk in the streets.

Its more like ... won't .. because you have displayed your hatred of police officers many, many times in the past ...

Hey Steinhauer, please speak for yourself on this. I don't like cops that abuse their power and has it nothing to do with being White or Black. But the only time I been unlawfully pulled over was by a White cops and I posted they they pulled me over , I was not speeding or violating any traffic laws , my 'crime' was dating a Black man.

Yeah, but a county sarge had to order him to lower the weapon and escorted him out right afterwards. That sarge prevented anything worse from happening. And the officer is from St. Ann, MO.

That's what my previous link is all about. If the officer stops you for no apparent reason, you can file a complaint to some places after you get his/her name and badge number. So that way it will be entered into the record.

If you didn't do anything wrong, you still have to cooperate with an officer and file a complaint afterwards. That's the way it works. As for bad cops (excessive force or brutality), hire a lawyer like Rodney King did. Deaf people can sue them for violation of ADA law (rejecting your request for an interpreter, etc).

This was in the 60's and reporting a cop would had done no good then and Boston cops where really bad then . some threaten to rape a friend of mine right in front of her two young boys , b/c my friend was very active with the civil rights movement . She is White woman and cops hated seeing White and Black people working together .
 
That is why I watched Fox News. The debates are great. always two sided. Unless CNN which is often one side, one biased.

That was waaaaay before my time. I was raised a LOT differently than that - racism was never tolerated in my family.

But, you brought up a fairly good point. Perhaps people see this whole incident in MO from when things were like that years ago ... but it is no excuse to villify the Officer before the trial. He could very well have been completely innocent. He also could very well have lost his cool .. but no one knows.

Burning buildings down, throwing rocks, bottles filled with urine, and molotov cocktails and shooting the police are not going to resolve anything.
