Trayvon Case Investigation

I've seen no indication coming from Steinhauer saying that GZ is innocent. Many of us have repeatedly said that court will have access to all of the materials to determine the truth of GZ's standing will we know. There's only so much we know so far. It's merely speculative to even determine anything at this point.

The operator that GZ was speaking with on the phone was not a cop. Please get your facts straight.

He is innocent, until and if he is proven guilty by a court of law.

I think Trayvon got a hint that he was packing a heat. either way - doesn't matter since Trayvon is dead and unavailable to testify to that.

Wonder if he mentioned to his GF that the guy had a gun....

Exactly. The lead investigator testified at the bond hearing that they have evidence to show that it was not self defense. Can't wait for that evidence.

Exactly what should have been in the affidavit. They are going to claim that Zimmerman was a racist and was profiling Trayvon Martin ... nothing new here.

I wasn't the one assuming that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman.

There is no assuming - Zimmerman's statements as well as corraborating evidence, including medical evidence all support the fact that Zimmerman was attacked.

Do you think that George Zimmerman shoots Trayvon Martin as justifiable?

The original prosecutor thought so. And yes, after Zimmerman had been detained and questioned.

Highly likely it was self defense, but I don't know with 100% certainty - I wasn't there.

It means you rather to wait until present in the court?

Some sources say it was a non-emergency police phone line, not 911.

Then he would have been talking to a police dispatcher. Even worse that he ignored it when he was told he was not needed to follow the kid.

The police investigators didn't think it was self defense.

There hasn't been any medical evidence presented. And there hasn't been any coroborating evidence presented that Trayvon attacked Martin. All that has been presented so far is Zimmerman's claim. The other evidence will come out at trial, along with evidence gathered by the special prosecutor's team of investigators.

How? If they don't think so why didn't they arrest George Zimmerman?

At least one of the homicide detectives said they did not believe Zimmerman's story of self defense based on what they saw the night of the shooting. The county prosecutor refused make the charges. That is why a special prosecutor was brought in.

Please could you present a source to support your claim? I found your claim is very hard to believe because I don't find anything from article, especially CNN and The Huffington Post.

Nope. That is evidence that comes out at trial, not in the affidavit. Nope. They aren't going to claim that Zimmerman was acting as a racist. That is up to the Feds and they are still investigating the racism part. They may claim he was profiling. Probably will since that was in the affidavit. But even you said that Zimmerman was right to be suspicious of Trayvon because there had been break ins by young Black men. So assuming that a young Black man walking down the sidewalk was "suspicious" based on that is profiling. Trayvon was not seen committing any crime. Zimmerman was suspicious of him based on past happenings that had nothing to do with Trayvon. That is profiling.
