Maybe you didn't mean it, but it is what you said, and I can only discuss what you actually say, not what you meant to say but did not communicate.

Maybe that's not what you meant but that's how it came out.

yes. I guess I should have said "ethics and higher standard" instead.

I'm not. I'm making a statement.

People say "I'm sorry" all the time for unintentional deaths and injuries. It doesn't mean that they're guilty of crimes.

Exactly and that's what people need to remember rather than taking it to mean on admitting to a crime. But just like the video people thought they had it in the bag about his "lack of injuries", they are doing the same thing with GZ's apology as proof of his guilt of his supposed crimes.

Just let the court play itself out, folks.

I hope he sincerely meant it, and I hope that poor mother's heart is at least slightly eased by his apology.
She didn't accept his apology and called it disingenuous. Oh, well...

GZ's father, brother and black friend said GZ cried alot over it before he was charged. I believe them.

I believe that both of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman paid their huge mistake, however Trayvon Martin is already gone. :(

Just wait until court make final decision, in case, if he isn't convicted for second degree murder so he will probably try as manslaughter or deal with federal charge.

It wouldn't surprise me if he cried over that. Taking another life is a lot to take in.

I think Zimmerman is trying to save his ass by apologizing. I do not feel sorry for Zimmerman , he did not follow orders from the cops when they told him not follow the kid. If he did Trayvon would still be live.

There were no orders from cops. Nobody is claiming the cops ordered him to stop- not even the prosecution.

A non-emergency dispatcher has no authority to give orders, and did not give any orders. The dispatcher merely said, "We don't need you to do that." Zimmerman said "Okay."

What happened after that will be settled in court. But nobody gave him orders to stop, because nobody he talked to had that authority.

Well, I can't really blame her. She is a mother in anguish. I think she'd feel better if let go of the anger, but she has to work through her grief in her way.

And you believed this because...

Zimmie is going to jail when all is said and done.

Why's that....Mr/Ms "Waterboy"?....Being a "newbie"...you've got some strong opinions....so....are you really a "newbie"...or a Permanent Banned ex-member?...ahhhh....

Going bananas and needed to come over here? Must not be happy over there.

it's nat*****ly dull

Except that it wouldn't have made sense. The ethics of prosecutors and defenders are not really any different. And the higher standard of proof only applies in court, not in statements made to the press, which is what we're talking about- a prosecutor's press statement.
