Except that it wouldn't have made sense. The ethics of prosecutors and defenders are not really any different. And the higher standard of proof only applies in court, not in statements made to the press, which is what we're talking about- a prosecutor's press statement.

Why's that....Mr/Ms "Waterboy"?....Being a "newbie"...you've got some strong opinions....so....are you really a "newbie"...or a Permanent Banned ex-member?...ahhhh....
He posted this:because? because?
Because everything else he has said has been true?
Followed by saying he believed it. You are buying this without any thought that it might be a lie? His family said so. His BLACK FRIEND said so? Does that make it truth? Well, let's cancel the trial and let Zim free. His dad and his BLACK FRIEND say he is remorseful and could not hurt a fly.GZ's father, brother and black friend said GZ cried alot over it before he was charged. I believe them.

What is with this Waterboy crap? I missed the memo.
Killing a person can take a psychological and emotional toll on a person not meaning to kill that person. GZ apologized....but that's not going to help much in such a high profile case as this when you have some people in the media tweaking the news just to make GZ look guilty instead of just reporting the news like a good journalist ought to do.
Waterboy is a permanently banned member that came back to stir up trouble.

When is the trial? I need proof.
I have never said he did *nothing* wrong.
There is a vast open space between being guilty of murder and doing *nothing* wrong. Lawyers, of course, disagree, which is why they always tell their clients never to apologize.
I can think of a lot of reasons why he would apologize and still not be guilty of second degree murder.
I hope he sincerely meant it, and I hope that poor mother's heart is at least slightly eased by his apology.
From what I heard the mother was not at eased about GZ apology.
Trayvon Martin Attorney: Family ‘Outraged’ That Zimmerman’s ‘Self-Serving’ Apology Helped Secure Bail | Mediaite
and Zimmerman lies in court when he said he thought Trayvon was only a few years younger than him! When he was following Trayvon the cops on the phone asked Zimmerman how old he thought Trayvon was and GZ said , he looked like a "teenager"! Zimmerman is only trying to save his own skin!
The 28-year-old insurance-fraud investigator comes from a deeply Catholic background and was taught in his early years to do right by those less fortunate. He was raised in a racially integrated household and himself has black roots through an Afro-Peruvian great-grandfather - the father of the maternal grandmother who helped raise him.
A criminal justice student who aspired to become a judge, Zimmerman also concerned himself with the safety of his neighbors after a series of break-ins committed by young African-American men.
Though civil rights demonstrators have argued Zimmerman should not have prejudged Martin, one black neighbor of the Zimmermans said recent history should be taken into account.
"Let's talk about the elephant in the room. I'm black, OK?" the woman said, declining to be identified because she anticipated backlash due to her race. She leaned in to look a reporter directly in the eyes. "There were black boys robbing houses in this neighborhood," she said. "That's why George was suspicious of Trayvon Martin."
Anyone can be racist, even against their own race.

I like that woman for being honest.Wasn't even talking about that. Neighbors noticed in case you didn't see it:
Like I said, so much for racism charges but neighbors noticed a pattern.
Anyone can be racist, even against their own race.
another dead give away
No, waterboy, alligators are NOT ornery because of all those teeth and no toothbrush.
