Followed by saying he believed it. You are buying this without any thought that it might be a lie? His family said so. His BLACK FRIEND said so? Does that make it truth? Well, let's cancel the trial and let Zim free. His dad and his BLACK FRIEND say he is remorseful and could not hurt a fly.

Killing a person can take a psychological and emotional toll on a person not meaning to kill that person. GZ apologized....but that's not going to help much in such a high profile case as this when you have some people in the media tweaking the news just to make GZ look guilty instead of just reporting the news like a good journalist ought to do.

That wasn't my point. I was commenting on CP accepting, as factual, hearsay comments from family members that Zimmerman was remorseful. I mean, how is it any different from any other family that tries to protect one of their own? "My son is no killer! He went to church every Sunday!"

There is a vast open space between being guilty of murder and doing *nothing* wrong. Lawyers, of course, disagree, which is why they always tell their clients never to apologize.

I can think of a lot of reasons why he would apologize and still not be guilty of second degree murder.

I hope he sincerely meant it, and I hope that poor mother's heart is at least slightly eased by his apology.

From what I heard the mother was not at eased about GZ apology.

and Zimmerman lies in court when he said he thought Trayvon was only a few years younger than him! When he was following Trayvon the cops on the phone asked Zimmerman how old he thought Trayvon was and GZ said , he looked like a "teenager"! Zimmerman is only trying to save his own skin!

Interesting. Because you have a lot to say about Zimmerman opinion of Martin's age but nothing to say about NBC doctoring the audio tape nor about MM using a picture of a 12 year old Martin. Interesting, real interesting.

Hmm....guess we'll wait until after court is done to see what was admitted in court, and how it turns out and what the truths were. Not going to jump the gun. Common sense, really. Although it is interesting that GZ has black roots. So much for charges of racism.
