Well, for me, I did not win money. Nothing was stolen. My dryer broke down and I had to get a new one. Not nearly as much drama.

BUt it keeps you lively. Sorry about your job . :wave:

So I just found out that I might have TWO jobs lined up for me. :)

The first one is still at a local tourist attraction from February to April (it's seasonal). They still have yet to contact me again, but they said they would contact me "within the next couple weeks", so I'm assuming they'll either contact me this week or next.

Also, last summer I applied at a new amusement park that was going to be built about 10 minutes from here. They finished building in the fall I believe and are opening this June. I got a few email replies saying that they'd get back to me when they had the chance (this was in August) and today I got a phone call (from a woman with a French accent - her message was very difficult to understand) asking for me to call back to set up an interview! :)

So, if all goes well, I might have a job from February to April and then another from June to the Fall. :) I'm hoping I get both! :)

Thought i'd drop by before i get back to translating more homework..

hopefully this hard work pays off... it definitely has me exhausted..

Jclarke, your dad is in my thoughts.

Kristina, I understand how frustrating it is. My grandpa had Alzhiemer's Disease. I know it's quite heartbreaking to see this in your mom. I pray that it gets better in time.

I know what it's like to have cognitive deficits. I've had them before, due to medications and my illness. It can get pretty strange, if you ask me. :hug:

At least I can be thankful that it's not Alzheimer's, but having the ICU delirium induced dementia is bad enough. She is now wishing at times that the hospital had just let her die. She's beginning to realize what she's putting me through and hates that it's come to this. I am trying to control my emotions more so that I don't upset her so we will see. I took the information Botti got for me and we will see the doctor soon and see what can be done.
 
Well, I'm back here. I just needed a break from Alldeaf for a while...haven't been here for 2 and half weeks. Hope you guys are doing good. :)

UGH I am sooooooooooooo tired! I am kinda nervous about going over to SCCC tomorrow to see what my options are about transferring and switching majors to the ITP and making Early Childhood Ed my minor, transferring finishing my AA in Early Childhood Ed then moving onto the ITP OR staying at NCC completing my AA and moving onto the ITP


Gods! I am soooooo confused!

LOL Sorry Bott ok here's the master list:

SCCC= Suffolk County Community College
NCC= Nassau Community College

I am guessing ya already know:
AA = Associate Degree
ITP = Interpreter Training Program

I am going to a local college to find out my options about transferring. does that make more sense?

Yes indeed and I had even figured out Community College, just not your state so not knowing their names. Plus in case you had not noticed, I like to tease people. :)
