You have helped a lot in the fact that as I start to feeling down or blue, I think of what you would say basically like "buck up kid, there's more to life than this!" Maybe not in those words, but something like that. Only you would be taking that whipping cane to the legs at the same time. :giggle:

I was touched as I read your message, thinking to myself, :hmm: , I think I would have said something more violent. Then at the end , I saw you really knew me after all.

By the way, at the grocery store today, my husband could not understand me speak, fingerspell and sign, or just fingerspell, "Jimmy's Sauce" . Admit those are all bad letters for speech, but I am (in my opinion) a lovely fingerspeller. This when he knew we are eating French Dip sandwiches tomorrow. :shrug:

He is moderately HOH and often leaves his HA in the box, today of course.

Eventually, I just stomped off practicing vocal snarling and found it myself.

BUt, I did not lay the cane on him even though I felt I went out of my way to communicate. :)

My ex hubby was with his girlfriend and her 3 kids so I refused to discuss anything with him with her there. So I did the deaf thing, refused to look at him when he tried to get my attention.

He already pissed me off enough..with the latest by being very late in meeting and not replying to my pages about where he was and what time he would be there. As a result, I waited in the parking lot for 45 mins. I didnt appreciate that at all since he was the one who told me to meet at 8.

Aprilla is a very nice bike but I wouldn't go for it. Expensive repair. Expensive parts. Expensive maintenance.
 
I am enjoying my new G1 phone, its really cool and still learning to adjust to it. I have the same number just different email:) The girl said, the simcards get old, found out not true. I have to input all my contacts by hand.
 
Hi everyone!

My holidays were OK but I was away and I just got back from Rio de Janeiro. My two cousins and I stayed at a hotel. The weather was great. The culture, the sightseeing, the beach, good foods and of course, shopping. :D
(Happy New Year, everyone! Yes, I am done shopping. I purchased a $500 gift card from the Williams-Sonoma store for my sister and her husband. They loved it. I've spent over $4,000 (to buy Xmas gifts) for my family and my few friends. Funny, I got money back that I won from a scratch ticket, which was given by my cousin... So, I paid all off!!!)

Before Xmas party, the two co-workers and I got laid off from work because my boss is d/o with Alzheimer's disease, according to his wife. I have been working there for 15 1/2 years but I was looking forward to my retirement, which did not happen. :mad2: Well, I guess I have to look around for a job but not now. I need some rest. I got a severance package from my company. So, I don't have to worry about that.

My Sidekick LX was stolen, which happened at a hotel. Grrrr... :mad2: I soon will purchase a new Blackberry Tour 2 or Bold with 3G, I think. I had to borrow one of my cousins' Blackberry Tour to talk to my parents and my other siblings a few times. It was so nice to hear from them. Also, it was so nice of my cousin to let me borrow it from her.

I miss chatting with you all while I was away. I forgot to take my netbook with me, which I left here. :mad2: So, anyway, what's new with you, everyone? I hope all is well.

Yupper! It was really easy. All of the questions were opinion questions. As long as you had facts to back up your opinions (which I did), you pretty well aced it. :)
 
So I just found out that I might have TWO jobs lined up for me. :)

The first one is still at a local tourist attraction from February to April (it's seasonal). They still have yet to contact me again, but they said they would contact me "within the next couple weeks", so I'm assuming they'll either contact me this week or next.

Also, last summer I applied at a new amusement park that was going to be built about 10 minutes from here. They finished building in the fall I believe and are opening this June. I got a few email replies saying that they'd get back to me when they had the chance (this was in August) and today I got a phone call (from a woman with a French accent - her message was very difficult to understand) asking for me to call back to set up an interview! :)

So, if all goes well, I might have a job from February to April and then another from June to the Fall. :) I'm hoping I get both! :)
