But you look good though. What's it like teaching Auslan?

A good experience, these students are just good as it goes.

you know jake, i wish i could teach. i used to participate in a co-op program back in high school where i worked with students who had learning disabilities. i was also a teacher's aide for a kindergarten teacher. i was close to many of the students and children i worked with (in fact, on the last day of school, all of the kindergarteners were in tears, gave me hugs and made me "goodbye" pictures that they drew).

now that i have ci's, i think i'm seriously going to look into teaching again, but will focus my efforts in the social work or mental illness field.

Yes, Hear Again ---

Oh man, I am having a minor headache now

uh-oh Jake, best to take a Tylenol Rapid Relief gelcap while its still minor.

HearAgain, I have finished my 'freewriting' edition of my paper. Now that I have a good idea of how I want it to look content-wise, I think I shall go back and get the exact information and sources cited in-text where needed. Do another draft and re-write if needed as well as a final proofing for submission.

Granted that this is supposed to be the Rough Draft we need to submit tonight to the instructor, I still can't help but to want as few mistakes as possible to achieve the highest score possible as well as having good-quality content.

I am drinking a bottled water right now in my office and I am alright just have a sore back unfortunately :(

a sign of agitation and stress.... the lovesick sickness!

Are you willing to share why your back hurts Jake? ;) jk. I know what its like having back problems, but granted that you do get to sit in a cushy office share in a relatively warm room, whilst I have to stand on a concrete floor over a stretched aluminum stand in room thats about 40 degrees. ICK. Believe me when your back is spasming so badly that it hurts just to move your arms its very painful.

first of all, good advice to jake.

what you've described is the same way i write my papers. it's much easier for me to freewrite and later insert complete thoughts and citations from the research material i have.

as for your rough draft, this may sound like strange advice, but i would leave alot of room for error. if your professor reads your rough draft and doesn't notice alot of grammatical or organizational changes, this could result in a lower grade. i always make sure that my rough draft is significantly different from my final draft (i.e. rough draft contains ALOT of errors) so that my professors can clearly see that i made the changes necessary to make the final draft the best it can be.

having said that, i think it's going to be easier said than done when it comes to my 10 page apa statistics paper. we're supposed to write a paper outlining a construct we conducted with 20 people and discuss/analyze/evaluate/critique the results. since this paper seems to be pretty straightforward as far as content is concerned, i'm having difficulty demonstrating some of the grammatical and organizational changes i've made. this paper is worth 20% of our final grade, so i want to make sure i do well.

sorry about that, jake. :( back pain can really be difficult to tolerate. do you have any ibuprofin you could take?

No, I don't and I left my painkillers at home, which they were suposed to be in my car for back up and whatnot.

so you're at work right now? can one of your co-workers run to the drugstore to get you some ibuprofin?

what i do with my meds is to always keep some at home, some in my purse (which i know you obviously can't do because you're male) and some at my desk (field placement) so that i don't have to worry about being without.
