Its raining a lot and Im starting work, ha.

whisperhorse,

you're welcome. :)

yeah, that's rough being sick while needing to take care of your children. :(

hopefully you can take a short nap sometime today which will help you feel a little better.

Yeah it's pretty diffcult to taking care of children during sick.. I hope that I can take a nap but I"m very pretty sure that my mom would take care of my daughter rest of the evening once she gets home from work until bedtime for her then I will take care of my daughter but right now, my grandma is here from dr appt and want to spend the time with her for a bit so I can have a small rest on the sofa and eating chicken soup for my lunch, blah...

whisperhorse,

i *love* drinking hot cocoa in the winter!

in fact, i always have a tall mug of hot cocoa first thing in the morning (sometimes i even do this during the summer months).

it's a great way to start off my day! :)

Yeppers, love to drink hot chocolate in the winter also, it's wonderful moment. Lol, same here I will drink hot chocolate every morning and lunch and dinner too for Winter, but will drink hot chocolate during summer sometime if Im mood for it.

WhisperHorse and Hear Again, I hope you are both better soon.

I feel much better today although I still have my cold, nothing hurts as much as yesterday.

Thanks! I hope that I will feel better, its my third time to getting sick since May 2008 that my daughter born. :ugh:

That's good to see that you getting better but hope that you will get more better :)

whisperhorse,

when you make hot chocolate, do you make it on the stove? i do -- or else i mix hershey's dark chocolate syrup with milk and heat it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. sometimes i also add marshmallows to my hot chocolate. it's delicious! :)

No snow here, but its rather chilly.

Same here. Time to fire up the wood burning stove!

well everyone,

i've made up my mind as far as my left wrist is concerned. it's really starting to bother me again today (i woke up with my fingers feeling completely numb). i've also had a shock-like pain shooting up my elbow several times yesterday.

therefore, i've decided to have surgery. there are two kinds of surgery for carpal tunnel -- open release and endoscopic. i'm going to ask if i can have endoscopic since the recovery time is much faster and the incision made in the wrist isn't as large as it is for open release surgery.

however, i've also decided to attend physical therapy until my surgery date. i figure it can't hurt.

in the meantime, i'll continue to keep all of you posted as to how i'm doing.

Not having a heart attack are ya?

no, but that doesn't negate the fact that i'm in pain. if you only knew how painful cts really is, perhaps you wouldn't be asking me questions like that. if you were being sarcastic, sorry, but i fail to see the humor.

you know that tingling/shock feeling in the arm does also mean you're having either a stroke or heart attack.

i'm not having a stroke or heart attack. my doctor said it's a symptom of cts.

now you're worrying me. should i go to the er?

Good morning everyone ;)

How's everyone? Well, I can't believe Thanksgiving is coming up pretty soon.

The reason why I was asking is because I had a heart attack at the age of 37 with the description of the pain you are describing--only mine was the left shoulder down the left arm causing numbness.

I'm not being sarcastic--I'm asking as a friend. :)

lol no no. i was just explaining why byrdie mentioned about heart attack cuz they're nearly same symptom as carpel tunnel syndrome. I thought you already went to see doctor about your problem?

<--- is starting to think he has too many cd's. Taking forever to import them to iTune.

oh, sorry about that byrdie. i honestly didn't know that could be a symptom of a heart attack. funny my doctor never mentioned that possibility to me. :hmm:

i'm 38 years old, btw. now i'm wondering whether or not i should go to the er?

i hope you'll accept my apologies for getting on your case, byrdie.
