if you're REALLY that concerned... then you should go back and demand for early warning test for heart attack or stroke. and yes the doctor would give you a look on his face - "huh???? you're only 38 years old!!! way too young for heart attack." Just tell him about Byrdie. :cool2:

My grandfather had first heart attack at age of 34 yrs old. Heart attack can strike at any age regardless. Just that when one gets older the risk increases.

well, i think i'm going to wait a day to see if the pain subsides. that may be stupid on my part, but i'm afraid of going to the er and finding out whether or not i really had a heart attack.
 
I know of a lady who is in her late 20s to early 30s that has just given birth and she was recently diagnosed with CHF (chronic heart failure) meaning if she does anything strenuous she could have a heart attack and die right on the spot. She is of healthy weight as well and has had no previous heart problems that I am aware of. so you can have cardiac problems at any age.

wow, that's pretty young. in my case, it doesn't help that i have high cholesterol (genetic).
 
although I should also note - this is a very RARE EXTREME case, so I wouldn't jump around just yet, hon.
