acted like God? how so? we didn't decide the fate for him. the jury did.
 
Its the "We, the people" meaning we are making decision whether one dies or not based on professional opinions on evidences. That is EXACT how it is, you, even myself is involved, period.

My point is, we shouldn't act like God, leave the death penalty to God, because there is no such thing as 100% perfect conviction even if it is very obvious.

The best way to make sure NO innocent get executed is to never allow any execution regardless.

... sensationalism ... yet sadly lost the case though. Which ais surprising with how wide spread it was back in the day... what kills is when new technology shows how a "soild" case is just hot air. ... recently it was the McCollum brothers...but too many cases are like that.

No, what happened to them was jacked....Have you ever read the court transcripts or parts of it? The case had more holes than a colander...
Sensationalism in the fact of how many groups with personal adgenda's that got involved..spinning as they could... it was kind of shocking of the international scale that this case had and the outcome of it...

Yes i have. I even have read their letters from death row...since im italian wnd an anarchist sacco and venzetti have been close to my heart since i was a boy...

They were done wrong... I have never read their letters...what are they in?.... juat history and digging through things...did a paper on them...thus is how I started...

They were written in italian. I read the english translation, penguin at one time published it in their classics colection.

Naturally...they did not speak English very well.

The best way to remember them, is for america to abolish the death penalty.

They were murdered by the state, for a crime they didnt commit..but hey, they have a couple of streets named after them so meh..

I have issues with the death penalty but agree with the sediment of it.... it's the human lack of intelligence and be able to actually be unbiased they screws it up.
They were not killed for the murder which they could not have done since they were in impossible locations...one at work then other getting a passport.... they were killed for their ideals, their race, being draft dodgers, and radicals.... they witnesses could not with any certianty place them in or around the murder...final conviction was for a quality conscious.... if the jury was unbiased they would have seen this...they would have not convicted them...and this would not have happened.... while I say a wo/man who kills should be put down...we cannot trust the legal system nor any other to correctly and unbiasedly find the proof.

Okay, what if your family member was murdered and the right person was caught, would you still want that person alive? :hmm: If I were you, I want that person dead.

As for innocent people to be executed, it happened to a lot of innocent black men in the past like 30s to 70s as I am aware of. But today it ain't happening because we have a high technology to prove it.

You praised the father who executed his daughter's rapist but you don't praise the court to execute him if the father didn't execute him, is that what you saying? If so, then the father acted like a God.

Actually I don't see your point at all.

Exactly how I see it, dont forget sometimes DA hides truth just to get votes. Theres true story based movie... I think its called "ask our kids, they tell u". Damn good movie, parents were jailed for 20 years for crimes they didnt commit, DA was being azzhole wanting rating to go up so he can win another election.

I have seen too much biases, realize we cant afford the death penalty.

You don't get it at all. If the father didn't kill the rapist and the rapist got arrested and went to court for the rape case, what would you want the court to do? Execute him or let him live in a prison?

Your argument is that the court has no rights to execute guilty people while civilians have rights to execute them.
