Nah...a 7 year old?...This is horrific!...."you said...if the boy really signed up for it, can't say he didn't have it coming..."...Say what?.....A 7 year old will sign anything that he is told to do....This is a CHILD!...

And if indeed, the parents forced or told him to sign....they need to be executed too....The boy more times than not didn't even undy what he was signing.

No one needs to be executed .... except members of the taliban.

I feel you because I get the same feeling. Can't deny I think a real kid's life should be different.

The difference between my thought from yours is that I try not to impose our culture on theirs, if they want to then they can adapt ours.. but it's their freedom etc.

If we say "this is how you must live" then we are no different from imperialist America.

another moot point for those folks keeping score at home:

America forcing its culture on others = bad

Taliban forcing its culture on others = ok

 No one in here said or implied Talibans can force their culture on others. :dunno:

Dunno where you got that from.

others? who?

I don't agree that they adults use kids for anything because kids don't know whats the difference between right or wrong or good or bad. That's how they raise in their culture. I dont like it for sure.

those who are around 3 to 5 years old kids stole my tevas shoes in veneuzula. :mad2: they got me distracting and thinking how cute they were. wow they are so good at it.

Let's not forget that US trained and supported Taliban when the Russians tried to conquer afghanistan? If I were an afghan, I would be darn confused about US politics. Why are they training me to kill kill kill, and then try to kill me?

correction - we trained and supported Mujahideen, not Taliban. Taliban was formed at around 90's.

the mentality of 7 years old in Afghanistan is different from 7 years old in America.

I'd like to hear more on this. I know that in Jordan, 7 years old boys are considered to be men.

That's quite the one-wing perspective. Everything is short minded in their own little thinking comfort bubble zones.

"Hey guys, we're rolling in your country now. Drop your crap and move out, accept our principles or get the hell out."

And you ever wonder why these countries outside the USA are hostile to US support? (Post Obama - hey, have you noticed how normally hostile countries are quite accepting of Obama's presidency? While the USA seems to have some rampant hatred. Really unusual.)

Steinhauer, no one is saying in here that Taliban culture can be mirrored and used in other nations. Better get it straight.

Not surprised, that's too extreme.

It is not about Islam fault but extremists are make Islam looks bad.

How about just say that executing a 7 year old kid is unacceptable and be off with that instead of appearing to lend support and justification that execution is ok?
Is it, or is it not?

How about saying that executing a 7 year old kid is acceptable to SOME cultures but not to ours, and let it go at that?

Yup, Afghan and USA are different cultures, hehe.

hehe? really? You are posting hehe in a thread about an executed 7 year old?

Ummmm, he was replying to me. I see his chuckle in a different context. Nothing wrong with it.
