People will do anything in war. If the boy really signed up for it, can't say he didn't have it coming..
Now if his parents forced him to spy then that's a different story.

:hmm:

war's hell :(

any form of spying by a person of any age and gender... it's an automatic death penalty :(

Pretty sad. Being a spy is a very risk thing to take the job.

Nah...a 7 year old?...This is horrific!...."you said...if the boy really signed up for it, can't say he didn't have it coming..."...Say what?.....A 7 year old will sign anything that he is told to do....This is a CHILD!...

And if indeed, the parents forced or told him to sign....they need to be executed too....The boy more times than not didn't even undy what he was signing.

the mentality of 7 years old in Afghanistan is different from 7 years old in America.

For those keeping score at home....

Waterboarding adults=wrong
Executing 1st Graders=OK

It's because people have been blinded living comfortably in the USA that you see this as cruel and a form of punishment.

We are not a third world country. Our socioeconomic status and ideas of life differ from that of those worlds. Re: Vietnam, China's Sino-Japanese war, WW2, plenty of past examples of murdered children people are forgetting.

Children of other nations are not children of America unless taken onto american soil.
Leave their culture and ideas alone. Don't be calling their country names based on solely our view of how to live life.

Remember the 2 year old smoker? He's not from the USA.

1st graders in Sierra Leone don't care about your score. They will kill you without remorse. without hesitation. without reason.

*it's a pix of child soldier dressed in soldier uniform, carrying AK-47 in a village surrounded by soldiers and villagers.

I would said that he is in a socialogy and culture with them. =?

Right, that's what it is.
The people who proclaim this is outrageous need to respect other country's cultures first before arguing.

I still think it is outrageous and we should raise awareness & encourage them to leave behind the barbarism and move forward to modern age.

btw - modern age does't mean skyscrapers, Gucci Prada bags, etc. It means people fight with words instead of guns.

Look at the situation in the middle east. Pictures say a thousand words.

What do you think of this? He could be a spy. How can you judge what to do with him if he is one?

Nah again....they'll never get my respect for what they are doing to innocent children...their "culture or ideals" etc. can be dammed, Nothing but a country of Barbarians...I'd like to blow their asses to kingdom come.

I feel you because I get the same feeling. Can't deny I think a real kid's life should be different.

The difference between my thought from yours is that I try not to impose our culture on theirs, if they want to then they can adapt ours.. but it's their freedom and their choice etc. I'm sure some kids would love to live an american lifestyle but the choice is theirs to make first.

If we say "this is how you must live" then we are no different from imperialist America.
