No, it's not Swedish, nor is it Germanic in origin, but it's a protected minority language in Sweden.

In Finnish. Yes. The language is more closely related to Hungarian.

Don't have the attention span to learn Finnish right now (seeing it's one of the hardest language in the world to learn)... but I do want to learn the following written languages: Chinese, Japanese, modern Dutch, French (I do know some, but it's so rudimentary compared to the fluent speakers) and Finnish.

Reminds me of an infamous deafie of Internet renown who lived there, too for at least a couple of years and came back here a couple years ago....in TX now...know who I mean?

Alley, there are a very few AD members who go to other deaf sites, 2 sites, in particular that are wholly video sites.
 
Ok. I still am not sure of who you're referring to. But it's only 8:30 a.m. and my brain has not fully woken up yet :lol:
