Nordic launguages

I am of scandinavian decent, born in Oslo, Norway...I think your amazing to try to learn another launguage. Being a Nor, i am very much the Viking, lol. so to you, my clever friend I say... "held og lykke"..smiling..Midnight
 
In Scandinavia the term Nordic languages is the most common, which refer to the North Germanic languages Swedish, Danish, Norweigan, Icelandic and Faroese.

Finnish isn't related to the above languages.
Swedish is also spoken in Finland. Most of Finns speaks finnish, but in Finland there are areas where people are speaking mostly or only swedish.
