So, Ladies, Do you wear makeups?

well i am tall, slim and wears jeans, tees, people mistake me for 18 to 25!

my last job through last winter gave me extra half an hour break i was like eh.. i don't need the extra half an hour they said i must take it since i am under 18, i was like "Thank you but i am 31" you should see/hear their reaction... they had to go to the office to check my records... He he he he

I dont know how old people actually think I am. They havent really suggested an age hehe. It's great that people think you're younger than your actually are!! I am very short for my age so people probably think I'm under 19

I saw this girl at Walmart today she might be about 12 or 13 and she had on very heavy eye makeup

I know some girls/women that wear so much makeup that they end up looking like a clown

Yeah, I've seen some really young girls going overboard with makeups. It just makes me wonder what goes wrong from there?

You can't go wrong with a little of a lipgloss or keeping it simple. :)

I think they need to go to makeup class

I agree

I stopped dyeing my hair years ago, so I look closer to my age now because the silver is showing.

I berry up in the summer but I wear a tinted/sunscreened moisturizer everyday and when I go to work or have an event to go out to I wear a little makeup most of the time. At home, no way, that is my relax time.

I have sensitive skin so I rarely ever use make up. I did wear make up for my sister's wedding.

no makeup, was never interested. Never learned. Tomboy-ish maybe....

Mrs Bucket both you and kitty are very pretty....is s/he a Russian Blue?

Remember Tammy Faye Bakker? She had one hideous makeup when she wore these THICK facial makeups, yikes!

:ugh: yes! I actually try to keep myself from looking at people too long who are like that. When I see too much make up, I kind of want to study the person for why they put on so much, provided that it isn't at some Halloween party or some special event.

It just turns on a switch in my brain, saying "personality inspection and observation of the suspect needs to be conducted." And then I try to refrain from looking too much.

That was enough to scare me, lol.

I mean, I'm ok with people using makeups but when they go way overboard, it's like they are wearing a "mask".

OMG!!! Big black rivers running down her cheeks when she cried. Scary stuff!

This gal I work with occasionally -- she must be about 55 years old -- she is very nice looking for her age, but she wears black eyeliner so thick it looks as if she has 2 black eyes. I want to say something polite about it but I can't!

Heh heh! You guys are hilarious!

Yes Hannah is a Russian Blue and she's very beautiful!

One time there was an older lady and she would always use lip pencil but never apply lipstick on. She would come in the drug store when I worked as a cosmetician. Pretty odd when I disliked make-up, eh!

I approached her and told her she wasn't finished with her makeup. She said "What do you mean, I'm not finished with my make-up?!"

About Make Up & Why its important to wears it

Well I would wears a foundation everyday to protects my facial skin from wind damage, sun damage also the air damage when I'm outside all the times.

Foundation helps keeps your face from wrinkles which the winds, sun and air do alot of damage to the face.

My sister taughted me alot about protecting your face from winds, sun and air, she reads alot of research about facial damage, I didn't know about it and I started wearin' make up everyday.

And also my sister said drinkin' pop can do damage to the face too, I was like I can't stop drinkin' pop, yes I do drinks lot of water which helps avoid the wrinkles and dryness on the face too.

Also wash your makeup off before goin' to bed, your face needs to breath.

Also not surprising is that some people drinks, smokes and do drugs which turns their face wrinkles and you would look 3 times older than your grandmammy and grandpappy, not kidding.

My aunt was onlys 49, she drinks, smokes and did drugs, never wore makeup, she looks older than her mother (my grandmother) who was 83 at that time before my aunt died, my aunt face looks horrifyin', she had thicks ton of wrinkles all over her face.

My ex so-called boyfriend's hair was all white from drinkin' and smokin' and drugs, his face looks awful too, he's my age, I looks 15 years younger, my cousin said I don't looks 42, that I looks 29, thanks to him lol!

I have more other relatives that don't wears makeup too, they too got wrinkles and their complexion looks terrible, some of them looks like they just got out of the cave or the coffin, some looks dead too. hee hee.

My sister is 44, but she looks 24, she never drink, smoke or do drugs her entires life, she took great care of her face by protecting it from the wind, sun and air damage using foundation.

When I go somewhere I had to wears protection on my face, but to be in public places I would like to looks nice, keeps my hair nice and my clothes nice, one time back in my 20's I used to looks like crap, no makeup, raggin' clothes, messy hair I didn't care back then, then people would give me a dirty looks so I changed to improved my looks and I got no dirty looks again heh hee hee. ( I used to wears a holes in my shirt ) hee hee hee.

I realized to have respect is to looks nice in public places.

At home I don't have to wears makeup and nobody has to see me hee hee:giggle:.

Don't wear it much except on special occassion.

The only thing I use daily is a face cream with SPF protection and blistex lipgloss. :)

I only wear makeup when I go out. I wear foundation, eye shadow, blush and eye liner. It isn't much, I don't put much on... lots of people think I look good going all natural, and that my skin are pretty flawless that I don't need makeup. My stepmother on other hand disagree. She always bitches to me how I don't put enough makeup on *rolls eyes*

However, whenever I stay home, I don't put makeup on and I normally just pull my hair into ponytail or put it in the bun.

As for the age thing... don't get me started on that! I look younger than my age! I always look younger than my age ever since I was a teenager! It gets so freakin tiring! whenever I'm with group of my friends or with my family, they (the people/strangers) always assume that I'm the youngest out of my friends, youngest child in the family when it's MOST of the time that I'm the oldest out of my friends, oldest child in the family!

The youngest age that people has guessed that I am is sixteen!!! Sixteen? I'm twenty two, not sixteen!!!!

But of course, everyone has kept telling me that I should be grateful for the young look I have because when I get older, like when I'm in my 30's, I'll look in my 20's. Well, we'll have to see, I guess. But as for now, I hate it!

 I exactly know what you mean by that. I mean, sometime I look at them for couple of minutes and I'm wondering, It could be that either they were not properly taught how to use it correctly or they're just either hiding something. I also think by wearing too much makeups also possibly shows that this person has some insecurities.

I wear eye makeup and lip gloss.

Oceanblue7 and Mrs.Bucket you both look real nice.

Thanks Pepsi:)

I admit to wearing make up on certain occasions, I do wear light foundation , face powder, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lip stick.I don't look like a clown.
