Skipping Breakfast (Just for Info)

Just to clear some stuff up going on, think there's some transliteration mixups not sure but anyways here goes.

I think what Foxrac meant it is good to him as it appeases to his taste buds, so he can choose whatever tastes good to him that he wants.
Not the good in terms of health sense. He probably knows it's not healthy.

What Banjo's saying is that it's not good for health. That's true, because if you look around at the contents of poptarts or even read the wiki entry, you'll find that info around.

just thought I'd toss that in.

Edit, oh yeah, here we go:
Pop Tarts Brown Sugar Cinnamon

I'm really don't care if it's not good health, food is food.

I had been skipped the breakfast for few month in 2006 and never got sick after ate breakfast again in next few month.

It don't happen to me when I ate Pop Tart so often in morning after work, my weight doesn't change or any difference.

Weight gain will affect if you eat food from fast food or restaurant (greasy, high fats) everyday or eat alot of sugar foods, tons of sweet sodas, cheesecake or any food that contain large amount of calorie, it depends how all combined are you eating.

Pop Tart with Froot Loops cereal is less fats than greasy sausage biscuit with eggs and cheese from McDonald's.

Geez, I used to eat pop tarts a long long time ago, that's when I was a teenager in junior high school. Normally I eat cold cereal or oatmeal along with milk drink or juice at home ;) That's because u need energy for the brain.

I'll rather eat greasy sausages with eggs and cheese from McDonald's than Froot Loops and Pop Tarts because they happen to contain more nutrients despite the high intake of calories, saturated and trans fats.

I don't like to eat cardboard.

I don't care about what kind of breakfast that you prefer to eat, both of Pop Tart and Froot Loops are quick breakfast, its just like weekday breakfast and if you don't like quick breakfast then its your preference.

Not everyone has same taste or body as you does.

I seem to have the same preferences too. I just cant get the same energy from Froot Loops and Pop Tarts to carry me thru the day like I do with food from McDonald's. Maybe it is because there is more substance in the food?

Fruit Loops and Pop Tarts are high in processed carbs - white flour and refined sugar and refined vegetable oil fats. It doesn't take the body long to metabolize them in comparison to whole foods like whole grains as well as proteins. So you get a quick response in your body from the items but then you are hungry again in a short time because the food is relatively empty calories. Fiber and protein together do a better job at keeping you feeling full for longer. The food quality between the Fruit Loops and Pop Tarts and the McDonald's is pretty much the same overall- poor - BUT the amount of protein in the McDonald's <assuming we're talking about things like Egg McMuffin, burgers - their usual stuff> is higher in amount and therein is the difference.
I avoid all of it.

What about Nutri Grain cereal bars or any granola bars?

Some people can't have full breakfast on weekday because of job.

I never got tired after ate quick breakfast food.

They can, but they just choose to be lazy and sleep in.

That's my problem..trying to break it so I can get a good breakfast before I go to work.

Nutri Grain and some granola bars are better nutritionally, based on what I know about nutrition <I learned about all of this due to the chronic illness of my beloved previous dog, and because of my allergies and desire to be healthy> then Pop Tarts, McDonald's. But does depend on what's IN the granola bars. Many granola bars are still very high in sugar <High Fructose Corn syrup, brown sugar, cane juice> and trans-fats and still very processed. Just cause something says "high fiber" or looks "grain -y" doesn't make it a nutritional choice. I think Nutri Grain has improved their ingredients but I still don't eat them. For granola I eat some raw granola <"Go Live" raw food> or make my own. For protein or "meal replacement" -type bars I do Lara Bars or Cliff Nectar Bars. I also sometime like Kashi bars but they do have the cane juice and I try to avoid that.

A nice quick breakfast for me could be one of those bars I just talked about, some yogurt <usually non-dairy> , previously-made hard-boiled egg and an apple or banana. I need to get up early to take care of the dogs anyway.

Not really.

No, it's really part of your wishes and it's their business to eat breakfast on their own risk.

I can eat Pop Tart and cereal whatever I want and I'm not interesting to get involve with you, none of bodies are perfect, thorough.

Banjo, I don't understand why does you dislike quick breakfast and want everyone to cook the real breakfast.

It's not about lazy, that why I said it's part of your wishes since some people has no time to cook the breakfast due stress, long job, more busy or not feel good. Quick breakfast, such as cereal, toasted bread, granola, microwavable biscuits (it's new to market) or other food whatever you want. I don't believe anyone, including you to make judge on someone how they eat breakfast and I don't want hear to see you say it's not healthy, unless you are trying to advice us and I have no time to cook the breakfast, except for off day because of busy with job, very stressed and not feel so good.

You have some of odd comment, I don't know that Canada is probably has different breakfast culture, many countries does and quick breakfast is popular in US, all public school in US does serve eggs, grits, toasted bread, cereals, fruits and some does serve pop tart or granola bars, there's nothing with wrong about nutrient, most breakfast has around quarter of nutrient and you can eat more other nutrient during lunch or dinner.

Want healthy quick breakfast then get Cheerios with toasted wheat bread.

You are really reading into my posts too much. You obviously took it personal.

But I'm not apologizing.
