I'm glad you can make that kind of distinction but I can't say same for general public. She was delusional by Minutemen's ideal. Same thing for Hassan.

We weren't discussing history. This thread is about current events (check the category that it's in). It's about the Fort Hood shootings, and whatever results from that event. It's not about lawyers and court precedents. It's about what's actually happening.

If no violent backlash has occurred, please don't create any.

I thought that he used modern Muslims to mean Muslims living in Muslim countries today. He'll clarify that I'm sure.

I agree with souggy. Westernized is a better word to describe what is being labeled here.

Some people do not think it is religiously neutral at all.

I mean, even with healthcare bill, They can't pass it without supporting abortion, and what christian like to work just to pay for someone's dirty work that is totally against their belief. That is not religiously neutral at all.

and it does make me wonder, are they trying to pass a healthcare, or public funding abortion?

I wonder if people support gov't funding research on curing people with homosexuals? <---this is how I feel about abortion and assisted suicide

Most suicide bombers do these things alone. But it tend to spread. While some militaries overseas are trying to put an end to this (remember children and women lived in fear and did not have any school because of this type of violence) We should have put a stop to it in our very own military base.

this event is a repeat of historical event. If history's of any reference - the violence may come afterward.... which I pray it won't happen. Racism and Bigotry have already happened. Violence is next. Pray for peace!

actually no. most suicide bombers are funded and equipped by terrorist organizations. Where you think where they get the explosive materials and money for their family?

Upon completion of suicide bombing missions, suicide bombers' families get a monetary compensation by their employers.
 
i mean they do their killing alone. Now, I am not sure if he is part of terrorist organization or not,time will tell. But right now I think he went insane.

Please create another topic for this debate. That has nothing to do with secularism in the realm of CRIMINAL LAWS relating to Fort Hood.

because they do not condone jihad or violence against Westerners nor have violent hatred toward Westerners. It is only those who follows Islamic Fundamentalism.

Since you were able to make distinction about Forde's role in Minutemen,... I wish people have your distinction skill about Muslim people.

I don't like ALL muslims. I don't dislike ALL muslims. I don't like all white, black, brown, etc. either. One of my neighbors is muslim and I like him. My daughter is biracial and I like her. I have no idea what religion you are or what the color of your skin is, but frankly, I can't stand ya'. Does this make me racist and bigoted since I don't care for you?
