Have you read the threads in the religion forum? The CI forum? The deaf can get just as nasty as the hearing do when there is a heated argument taking place.

If you love our culture then why are you not respecting our forum rules?

It is proven fact that patients who are undergoing medical treatment that pray regularly tend to respond better to those treatments as well as having faster recoveries.

Those that do not typically do not respond well to the treatment and have a slower recovery.

Why do I deny the very foundation (Christ bood = a glorius everlasting reality at death)? Because I have been there done that for fourteen (14) years!

Medical praying scenario is indeed quiet interesting yes. But to me it is just a curious mysterious. It does not point, not necessariy, to a suport of a spiritual healing.

I need my feet to be planted, deeply rooted, on solid ground. being spiritual in my daily life can't be realized (for me) since I can't find such firm footing as I do in science.

I respect deaf folks and one has nothing to do with the other. We are having respectful discussion. we are being civil and mature. once that ends, then this thread, or at least my participation in it, will end as well. let's maintain the calm.

I am HOH, but that is not my point. By your comment, you are showing a prejudice. Hearing people, generally speaking, hear sounds better than deaf. Most any other comment you would make sounds wrong. Sorry.

You can be firmly planted in swamp water for all I care, but you've just posted two threads that are VERY religious in nature and are also provoking arguments. But you're also using these threads to knock those who do have belief system and you're claiming science as a savior. You are trying to claim that SCIENTIFIC THEORY is proven fact when the reality is there is not enough evidence to prove or disprove it at this time.

i do not understand your words. maybe you have misunderstood my words.

i mean hearing PEOPLE - their attitude and not their abilities or disabilities. you see what I meant to say is that deaf folks are more respectful when it come to discussion. hearing folks among themselves are not like that. they tell you bad words and scream at you and make you feel a foot tall if you do not agree with them. but when communicating with deaf folks in a discussion like this one, none of that is true. so deaf people are more mature and healthy when discusing matters than hearies. that's what i was saying. i would never say anything negative about deaf folks saywhatkid. never.

I understood you perfectly. You are making a judgment about hearing people discussing science or spirituality. I repeat; hearing people generally hear sounds better than deaf. Nothing else can be used without looking like you are prejudiced.

You will be surprised at the number of scientists that believe in intelligent design.

Aren't there repercussions for scientists who declare they believe in God?
