"President out of touch....plays golf during bad economy..."

It bothers some of you if he works, and when he doesn't work. Aren't we better off when he is only spending for green gees?

That very well might be true

He didn't even make me happy but I'm not even gonna stoop that low like a simpleton and criticize about his golfing escapade. If one has time to criticize that.... then one must be leeching off on welfare system or is completely out of touch with reality.

Ah yes, I agree - all those democrats that were criticizing Bush for playing golf were leeches.

That is why they voted for Obama - for the "free stuff".

Will Michael Moore be mocking Obama for playing golf?

what free stuff?

Will Michael Moore be mocking Obama for playing golf?
Maybe he has better things to do like criticizing Obama on Obamacare, economy, Wall Street bailout, etc?

Mitt Romney, Michael Moore agree: Presidents play too much golf - National Golf | Examiner.com
Both men joined a long line of politicians and other observers who have rebuked presidents for tinkering too much with their games. Democrats lambasted President Dwight Eisenhower for his 18-hole obsession, often slapping their knees over the Cold War joke, "Do you mind if the president plays through, the Russians just bombed New York," according to USA Today.

The publication also noted that Obama had a long way to go to equal Ike’s "nearly 800 rounds during eight years in office." And despite Eisenhower’s penchant for fairways and greens, Woodrow Wilson apparently is the leader in the clubhouse, having played almost 1,600 rounds in eight years, USA said.

Not everyone’s a critic, though. Back when politics was not so nastily partisan as it is today, President Harry Truman actually defended his successor’s need for downtime on the links.

"To criticize the president...because he plays a game of golf is unfair and picayunish," USA Today quoted Truman as saying. "He has the same right to relax from the heavy burdens of office as any other man."

It would appear that Michael Moore is Obama's biggest fan.

So that would explain why he criticized Bush for playing golf, yet has said nothing when Obama has played more Golf in 3 years than Bush has in 8.

In fact, the entire left had their panties tied in a bunch every time Bush went to play golf.

So why are they not doling out the same criticism for their "saviour" for doing the exact same thing only more so?

Steinhauer - You seem to believe that Michael Moore shares bed with Obama. Well let's see....

Obama Is A 'Heart-Breaking' 'Disappointment' - Business Insider
That Michael Moore is disappointed in Obama is perhaps not the biggest surprise -- Moore is far-left of center, Obama is center-center -- however, considering Moore's affinity for the Occupy Wall St. movement it's not too much of a stretch to conclude he is voicing some of their concerns with regards to the President.

Here is Moore from an interview with Richard Bacon of the BBC:
He did not come into office like I hoped that he would, to do what Franklin Roosevelt did in his first few months where he came in and said, you know, ‘I’m in charge, this is the way we’re doing things, if you don’t like it, throw me out of office...Barack Obama came in and said ‘What can I do to help you?’ and every time he attempted to help the Republicans, they just shut the door in his face. He inherited a horrible situation but he spent three years, if we could just go back to the sports analogy, you know, running the ball in the wrong direction.”

oh my! He even said Obama was a heart-breaking disappointment.

It seems Polish reporters must be leeching off the system and living on welfare:

The Media's Golf Double Standard - The Daily Beast

Bush was also constantly ridiculed and criticized for playing golf, most memorably by Michael Moore in Fahrenheit 9/11. In August 2003, Bush gave up the game, believing it sent the wrong message to grieving parents of soldiers killed or wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course, he was ridiculed for that as well.

Obama was criticized by foreign press recently when, unable to travel to pay respects to the president of Poland who was killed in a plane crash, he went golfing.

But there was not a critical peep from the American press.
That bears repeating. Here is a journalist remarking about Obama that he is “able” to play golf despite war casualties and economic disaster. For Bush, the press couldn’t believe that he would dare golf at such a time, but for Obama they marvel that he can.

incorrect.

that's why they're a bunch of buffoons.

So why are they not doling out the same criticism for their "saviour" for doing the exact same thing only more so?
I'm not interested in criticizing any President's break time because it's silly. I thought you're smarter than that?

incorrect.

I thought you were smart enough to figure out the point I was making - the double standard of Obama supporters.

The selfish greed that motivated them to support Obama. The "free stuff"

The "wealth redistribution" the "Oh goodie, I get other people's hard earned money!"

Hmmm....100 rounds of golf which equates to about 5 hours of off time. That's 500 hours of golfing. That's like taking 62 days off from work for a typical worker working 40 hrs a week. I agree with Bush, it does send a wrong message.

I am smart enough to not even resort to simpleton level. It's just easier for them to complain than to discuss intellectually.

so.... where's my free stuff since I voted for him?

did he really golf for about 500 hours or close to it?

Did you guys notice Obama's the most athletic of all the presidents we've probably had in the past century?
His height and weight are the most proportional.. All that golfing and basketball probably pays off on the weight.

It would make more sense to compare their health, weight and what their physical activities were like at the same age as Obama. Between Obama and Ronald Reagan their age difference is 23 years old. But this is golf we're talking about.

Other than Fox (which we all know get blasted from the left) which media outlet "criticized" Obama for playing Golf?

Because I can give quite a few that criticized Bush.

ah... still quibbling around...

But there was not a critical peep from the American press.

lol!!! I'm sorry if I embarrassed you.

The carpet guy is waiting on you to fix the carpet - look at big white van.
