Don't we all! Too bad so many can't afford that. Ya know, we pay for a pretty big house for him. He can always read a book or watch a movie. That is still resting of course but at least it would represent "shared sacrifice"

Obama is elected by electoral votes so you should get over it.

so? that's why I work hard to afford it and you worked hard to afford a luxury to quibble around in here.

I don't think he's interested in reading a book since he must have read hundreds of papers on daily basis - you know.... the PDB and whatnot.

I don't think he's interested in watching a movie since he has seen hundreds of classified live-feed videos of horrors probably on weekly basis.

Playing golf completely away from daily horrors and stresses would be what Surgeon General recommends.

Welllllll. He ran for President and made it. You didn't. Accept it.

It's a pity that American citizens are completely out of touch in reality to see what it takes for them have a luxury of being entitled with their opinions. I believe the most unluckiest person in America is the President of the United States. 4/8 years of loneliness and horrors. :(

Shared Sacrifice? oh Obama...... you're too too too modest and so humble. His sacrifice doesn't even compare to what Joe the Plumber sacrificed.

Again he said "shared sacrifice". Many people worked hard but are now without a job.

He could always knit and walk the dog.... Maybe do some yoga. I mean if it's about "shared sacrifice" and stuff.

so if I lost a job, blame Obama? :laugh2:

so how is golfing any different from knitting and walking the dog?

Yep.....He chose to seek a job with alot of responsibilities. He should focus on those responsibilities since he got the job. :)

and he's sorry that he's not able to make you happy. 300 million Americans. can't make them all happy! :(

*shrug* He is the one that popped of with "shared sacrifice"

You mean other than not having to shut down an entire golf course and surround it with Secret Service agents? They already guard his giant yard that we provide for him.

He didn't even make me happy but I'm not even gonna stoop that low like a simpleton and criticize about his golfing escapade. If one has time to criticize that.... then one must be leeching off on welfare system or is completely out of touch with reality.

He did some of his responsibilites to do. Impossible to take all of responsibilities to make everyone happy. But he did some as much as he can. He have no private life and everyone is hawking him every second every minute every hour every day every year.. i cant do it.

yes. such a modest man he is. it's unfortunate to see a person wasting his time to nitpick and criticize him. Whatever happened with "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what can you do for your country"? Have we gotten very lazy and out of touch with reality? :(

these folks can afford to golf at another place  and that golf course must be elated to do business with White House - 100% American support right there! :cool2:

at least Obama's not golfing in foreign country like corporations

It's ok if this doesn't bother you. It does bother some of us. *shrug*

My bad. It wasn't 97 rounds of golf....it's 100.

President Obama plays 100th round of golf, draws fire from critics - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

I wonder how will Axelrod's quote reconcile with the 100 rounds of golf as being "out of touch" for playing golf during a bad economy when Bush only did 24 rounds in his two terms. Does that mean O is 5 times as out of touch? Axelrod will have a lot of explaining...er, backtracking to do.

Remember how Bush reacted to the criticism?

He said "you're right" and stopped playing golf.

But ....that was back when president's had class and tried to avoid dividing the nation. Ah....the good ol days.

And that lack of division is why Obama got elected? I thought it was the other way; that the division of voters got Obama the "almost" automatic election victory.

BTW, according to a poll I recently saw, GWB still carries the lowest approval rating of any President, and that includes Clinton and Nixon. I could look it up, but no thanks. I find political polls to be a sad presentation of purported fact. Feel free to defend his (GWB) popularity and lack of divisiveness. I fully expect you to take the bull by the horns...

I doubt it bothers you otherwise you wouldn't be wasting your time in here when you should be out there doing something good for this country.

It bothers some of you if he works, and when he doesn't work. Aren't we better off when he is only spending for green gees?

Who says I'm not :)
