Because some look for any miniscule thing they can find in an attempt to discredit...especially when they have such a hard time finding anything valid. It is like an obsession. Looking for something bad to say about another 24/7. What they don't get is: the person they are attempting to discredit has complete control of them without even trying. :giggle:

I am sure Obama knows but really, can any of us have the power to tell him to quit smoking? I am sure judging him is not gonna help.
 
I wouldn't wish lung cancer, emphysema, or anything else because of smoking on anybody.

Yes, he should quit. He used to be an avid ciggy user ("in my formerly nicotine stained fingers"). So he smokes on occassion his cigars but that can be just as bad. I'd would suggest the same thing about taking a stroll in a hospital ward or show a jar with a cancerous lung floating in formaldahyde. So, what is exactly your problem?

And would you also question his ability to do his job, or make a statement regarding the conditional nature of his family's love, too? That's the problem.
