(KCBS) - Officials at San Quentin prison in Marin County, where death row is housed, are preparing for Scott Peterson's expected arrival after formal sentencing in February.
KCBS reporter Holly Quan says Peterson, like all condemned prisoners, will need to acclimate to death row culture.

Well Good Luck to Scott that he will lose his freedom forever which he will trap in small Cell and his life will be so Rotten.
Prison spokesman Sergeant Eric Messick said Peterson will likely be transferred from the San Mateo County Jail to San Quentin in secret. "His only contact will be with his escorting officers that will remove him from the vehicle that he arrives in and escort him into the housing unit, the adjustment center, strip search him, change him out into the clothing of that unit, escort him to his cell, place him in his cell."

Messick told KCBS all prisoners are considered potential threats and are kept in isolation until they undergo psychological and inmate compatibility tests.

"All new arrivals are Grade B condemned," he said. "He won't have any privileges during that period, other than the opportunity to shower, write letters back and forth of course. During that time, his applications for visiting can be processed. He won't even have any visitors, other than attorney visits."

After the testing, he will likely be upgraded to Grade A and sent to the five tiered east block.

"The east block is pretty much the old fashioned, stereotypical look you've seen in movies of the five tier housing units," Messick said. "It's a cell block. It's got about 552 cells in it, 450 housing condemned inmates. He'll have his own cell with a bunk, a sink and a toilet."

Messick said he does not expect Peterson to be harassed. "They have a common theme, and they develop friendships and bonds if for no other reason than there's lack of any choice. So I'm sure he'll develop friends as time goes on."

Given his notoriety, Messick said Peterson will likely be assigned an exercise yard with the other infamous murderers, like Richard Allen Davis and Ramon Salcido.

I was thinking of Laci Peterson few nights ago. I said, why why Scott would murder her and his son. Scott should get a divorce him instead of murder them. If Scott does not love her then he should tell her at the marriage couneslor.

Laci apparently has a sweet and loveable personality. It is very hard for everyone become emotional and greif in that town.

Hardly to believe, Scott would murder his wife and son when he does not care about his family ??

I believe that
Jesus would forgive him,
but he cannot stop the death penalty himself.
This does not matter about the past
such as what Scott should do this or that...

Have you seen a cool simple famous quotation:

P.S. Even though Death Penalty
is more expensive than life prison,
what do you think about the reason
why did they choose Death Penalty ?

We already know what Jesus would do because the Bible shows us what Jesus did.
When Jesus was being crucified on the cross, He was between two other men being crucified on their crosses. One thief confessed that he deserved to die for his crime. Jesus forgave him and told him (the thief) that he would go to Paradise. BUT Jesus did NOT stop the execution/crucifixion of that thief! That is our example.

Nawww, I think he would tell us to turn the other cheek and let the other one be struck, or not to cast stones unless you are without sin, etc.
Sighhh, it is frightening to see a modern brand of "killer Christianity" oozing from the darkness...

The only person who can "turn the other cheek" and let the other one be struck, is the victim. The jury is not the victim. "Turn the other cheek" cannot apply to anyone other than the one receiving the first blow.

As in my example about the thief on the cross, Jesus had the power to "commute" the thief's death sentence. Jesus could have used His miraculous power to prevent the thief's death. However, the thief himself even said that his (the thief's) punishment was just. Therefore, the death sentence was carried out. It was Jesus' role to forgive the thief's sin. It was the Roman government's role to carry out the execution.

First of all, Jesus would never be selected for a jury. I have been thru jury selections, and I can guarantee He wouldn't make the cut. Being God, Jesus already knew the verdict. Also, He would be the only member of a jury who would actually have the power to forgive the convicted killer. So your entire scenario of Jesus on a modern jury is moot. ;)

However, based on what Jesus said and did in the Bible, I would say He would follow the law, and could vote for the death penalty. Then, if Peterson confessed and repented his sin, and accepted Jesus as Savior, Jesus could save his soul for eternity. I can't say exactly what Jesus would do on the jury because Jesus knows Peterson's mind and heart, and no other juror has that advantage. Jesus knows which punishment would be worse for Peterson. No other juror can know that.

Scott told the court that he went to fishing all himself..... i just wonder where is his friend go with him go to fishing ???? how he bring his own boat alone without no friend who help him push the boat or something ?

Scott already cheat on his wife and spend time with his blonde girlfriend... maybe she found out that he still married and she become angry and she should be kill scott s wife while he is on fishing trip.... i blame on his blonde girlfriend plan to kill laci and connor without scott know :squint: or maybe she and scott planning to kill his wife laci and his baby connor

i felt so bad about his wife and his baby connor killed.... yes scott wont admit to tell a truth about killing his wife and his baby ... scott has no hard feeling and show his face .... i looked at his face in his court and he didnt cry or angry or something.... just quite himself.... maybe his lawyer teaches him dont cry or emotion front of the court....

yes the court and police are waste of the time for no witness or no prove at all..the police and lawyer want to take a money from his parents or scott
it is not making a sense at all that scott stay in death pently...... what about ugly blonde girlfriend ? check on her s background.... something creepy about her .....

I can´t image that he murder his pregnant wife over that blond lover?

Is the reason he has to kill her because he´s too coward to face her the truth?
 
We do not know for sure if he killed them and we want him to die because we believe he did it. There was so many good men died innocent and how do we know if they were not murderers. It happened so many time. We need to be more careful about with put them to death so we do not kill innocent ones just alike they murdered Jesus. Moses was a murderer and he did not get death pentalty.

Dream on, Steve. Won't happen...

It's not a Federal issue, but a state issue. The US Supreme Court won't get involved until they are asked to take a look at his Death Penalty appeal. This won't occur until probably decades from now.

I also doubt that his conviction will be overturned. At least, not any time soon.
 
Thanks Boult for the information, but I disagree with one person, If your wife didn't come home and there no bags that was packed how does that person know that his wife should have left? Don't make no sense. If he really cares about his wife and unborn child he would not contact his girlfriend the first place, He would have told her the truth and end the relationship. That would have showed that he is not guilty of murdering his wife. Of course I agree that guys do lie in a relationship.

And another thing Amber had mention that she not doing it for the money, She doing it for herself and for Laci.
