On a sad note, my state was overly swayed by the 'yes for marriage' ads that have been all over the tv and radio at half-hour or more frequent cycles for the past month or so. Although it looked hopeful at the beginning of the results coming in with 65% voting HELL NO on prop 102, in the end, CNN called it as a yes by the time some 50% of the results were in. Which means the arizona constitution will be amended with: “Marriage - Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.” :mad:

Thats too bad. We had a similiar question on our ballots, too. I need to find which way it went for us. We also have a stupid law on our books that says gays can't adopt children. :mad:

I just checked. The result isn't final, but 98% of the people voted to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. It makes me sad. :(

Sounds like you're the one who has a problem. I'm a republican and I'm glad Obama won, but that doesn't mean I'm necessarily gloating about it. I believe it's best to win graciously and lose graciously. We don't need to throw it in people's faces.
 
Right now, we should worry about the economy on how Obama will handle it after he take over the office in Jan.

Remember, Obama have no power to withdraw, it's up to House, Senator and Congress blah blah blah to vote blah blah suck penis blah blah. No 100% promise it can be done.

yes he can. President is the Commander-in-Chief. Congress approves the official declaration of war and the military funding. It is up to President to choose whatever he wants with the military.

Like I said - that's official declaration of war, not withdrawal. It is entirely up to President to withdraw the troops or not. Remember President Lyndon Johnson? He withdrew from Vietnam War.
