For your first question - i don't know. I'm not very familiar with Reagan Administration. For your 2nd question - no. absolutely not. That is equivalent to insider trading.

The oil price fluctuates depending on several variables - worldwide economy, one major oil-producing nation deciding to over-pump or under-pump the oils, etc...

While raising gas prices so drastically just because he became president is rather far fetched, if the tax increases do affect me (they may).. I would rather pay higher taxes and KEEP IMPORTANT THINGS FUNDED rather than kick my feet in the ground over paying more and leave someone else cleaning up the mess.

Nothing changes without money- it's silly to judge the worth of a president based on the fact that he, like any other president, understands that a country needs money to run and as people living within that country, we need to be the ones giving that money.
 
Prior to the end of the election, there was concern over the Bradley effect and how it might negatively affect voters. Given Obama's landslide victory, it's apparant that the Bradley effect had no significant bearing on the majority of voters.

it's 4-pictures strip.

1st - it's a scene of Obama crowd at some place. 2 kids on top of their fathers - left side is a white kid and right side is a black kid. large caption on top - "Making your parents proud."

2nd - a white boy was giving a "Obama-Biden" sign to a black kid

3rd - a black kid held up the sign

4th - 2 fathers came closer so that kids can hold the sign together and posed for picture and made peace sign. A caption at bottom - "Yer doing it right."
