I havene't been on line since about this time yesterday, as I was following the events closely on T.V.

Just wanted to say that it is great to see so much hope and excitelment being expressed over the election of our new President elect, Barack Obama. As passionate as I can get about political issues, I have been experiencing a quiet sense of awe that the country has actually taken the steps to move forward in such an historic way. Things are not going to get better right away, but for the first time in a long time, I actually have hope that this country will turn around and get back on track to becoming the country it was meant to be when it was founded. I am relieved, hopeful, and immensely grateful. Not to mention honored to have been givent he priviledge of taking part in such an historic event by casting my vote for Obama.

Please excuse me for :topic: Are you hearing?

I think there will be 2 things we're gonna have to get used to in Obama Administration that we haven't had in a long long time...

1. Accountability
2. Long-Term Planning

...and how refreshing (not to mention long overdue) that is!

Do you consider what does Long-Term Planning define?

I thought everyone around here already knew the answer to that question. But "yes".

I haven't ask you for long time. I noticed your English Grammar sound like hearing. :) You can hear Obama's speech very well. I accepted for his victory last night. I want to tell you I am apology what I did wrong. Can you forgive me?

a total overhaul of our: health care plan, education system, green-friendly approach, etc...

Yeah. I hope it will be work out as well. Do you think Obama is not a socialism on health care right?

Of course, Pinky. You have done nothing for me to forgive. Political discussions can get ugly, as we've seen right here. But its over now, and there are no hard feelings on my part.

Yes, I was blessed to be able to hear Obama's speech. It was amazing. He was quietly confident, humble, and grateful.

Not to that scale. You shouldn't worry because you can keep yours. His plan benefits mostly for poor people who cannot afford it.

Aw. Thank you for accepted my apology. Yes, Political are dirty. I was being messy with everyone's POV. I made mistake myself. It's all over! GOBAMA!!! I was little tearing for his speech very well. back :)

No, I don't have to be worry. I am honest. I'm in middle class and can't afford to buy a new house and expensive health care. I am looking forward for my husband to be finish with his college degree. He will find a best job and insurances. He can't wait to find a new job on January. He is very hard work. He was disappointed for McCain lost. He accepted for Obama won. He told me not to be worry about terrorist.

Obama favors into social insurance for Americans who can't afford to purchase insurance or their workplace don't offers that, regardless if they are low or middle income.

Social insurance is part of free market with medical cost control like Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Taiwan offers that.

If you have insurance at job, if you can afford it then get for it.

You must be misread my post in other thread. I think. I said I am hope for Obama will figure it out how it's problem the solve with Al Qaeda Terrorist and Hamas to make a peacemaker from enemies.

No, I don't misread but replies go to Hear Again's post, not your post.

Actually, Al Qaeda isn't a Middle Eastern country -- it's an international Sunni Islamist movement.

I means organization, forgot to add in end of sentence.

Al Qaeda has no love for our country but bet about they are very fear after Obama win.

And increased coffers of the Treasury?

Speaking of coffers, the current 11 trillion deficit will cost us 53 trillion if the current deficit is not added to beyond this point. Cannot wrap my mind around this.

And, I feel that Obama will not cut tax durin' that time, but will increase tax.

I don't need capisce. I already knew that. :)

If you already knew that Maria, why are you continuing to make a generalized statement that Obama will raise taxes? You make it sound as if he will raise taxes on *everyone.*
