But I grew up (I think?), so I'm trying to be more educated about things!

i just had to jump in here and say i found that comment humorous.

as for myself, i'm a political junkie and history buff.

The fact that people have to point out that he's black/mixed/whatever shows that racism is still prevalant. Not because they are pointing it out, but because they feel the NEED to point it out to show his achievement. If being black and successful is an "achievement" then that's messed up in so many levels. If there were truly no racism, then there wouldn't be any need to focus on his race.

I feel sad for you.... and I pity you. I still don't know why you're so racist about your own kinds - more than even white people. People can't be sent to jail for saying racist remarks. Racist remarks are ugly and ignorant but they aren't illegal. Racist actions, such as job or housing discrimination, are illegal. Even then, those are usually civil offenses that don't end up with jail sentences. Racist violence can get someone thrown into jail.

Why would i have to be careful what I am saying about racist? How could I be end up in jail for racist remarks?? For truth, I had experinced with police, he started to yelled me foul language, I screamed back to him profane languages. we yelled each others for 15 mins without physical contacts, no kiddings. somehow another police stopped him for yell at me with his bad languages. So police didn't throw me in jail for that.. So why should I be careful with words what I speaking?
