I have seen someone attacked whom is from another country, which is not belong to USA. saying " please stay out of political conversations, because you aren't live in USA. you better stay where you belong your country, .. That's the problem with you; if you really knew anything beyond the superficial of deaf culture and education, you wouldn't be talking like you do. The answer to your question to BGamer regarding his grammar is, basically, that he simply isn't able to which is true, I believe, of the majority of deafies; he is doing about the best he can.

I COMPLETELY understand that and you did not see me harp on other ADers for their grammar/spelling mistakes. But XBGamer acts like it ain't his problem and he expects the world to understand him. I have seen other ADers whose grammar skill isn't that good but he/she is courteous and humble about it. XBGamer should exercise that same manner.

Mostly, it's to do with the cultural aspect that differs from society to society. I think it's quite nice to have diversity and to live in a melting pot society.

I can see where people are coming from when they make these arguments, although it doesn't make them right nor wrong. It's an opinion and one is free to either agree or disagree with it.

I don't think his argument was just about Obama's speech or behavior. I think XBGamer is referring to the fact that Obama is not a descendant of black African American slaves, or the American black experience. Obama's father was a black African, not an African American. Obama might have experienced racial prejudice for himself but his ancestors didn't experience slavery, Jim Crow, or the American civil rights movement of the 60's. He didn't have that personal American history experience passed down to him by black American ancestors.

I'm not arguing for or against that point; I'm just trying to explain that point of view.
