Ignoring your post #132 because it is absolutely absurd.

Sorry, you started to make an absolutely absurd posts... that´s why I positive your immaturtiy posts... Next time, act adult and positive your posts instead of immaturity posts to use false comparison please and please grow up :ty:...

Sorry but have a good day!

You need a break from computer to heal your immaturity head... and come back when you feel better...

Have a nice day... ;)

Nope, false statement. I never thought race question as a racist or agree with link... Cheri & Jillio have no problem to response my posts to disagree with my POV and explained me... or also have no problem with my questions or my opinion. Quit misinterpret my post, please.

The link, I want to show you that some Americans viewed "race question" as a racist itself which is different view as you and some ADers. They explained why they view and made some good questions about "race question" issue. I am surprised that XBAGMER agree with link and expressed his feeling what he thought about race question, it look like that XBGER is not alone who see his view. I respect him what he is and positive his post and also his question as well instead of mock to correct him or belittle him.

I'm sorry but you need to learn how to come up with solid credible source to back up any of your claim. You cannot just google it and find anything that matches to your view and say - "HEY LOOKIE LOOKIE! See!? See!?"

About XBGamer's opinion on political matter.... didn't you forget his posts on Obama? It's far more negative and completely uninformed. I doubt XBGamer actually read your link. He probably read just 1 line - "The race question on the U.S. Census is racist" and agreed with you. Don't you know any better that XBGamer's political view is very ILL-informed?

Please look at the link you gave us. You're basically giving us a so-called article by some guy who called himself "Soda Bob" nice.... nice.... very nice... How can you not think this guy is "ignorant and uneducated" ?

why are you still fanning the fire? I left a long time ago. I ignored your post and I do not wish to continue any further. Please take a break from computer and come back when you realize that the fight was already over. :cool2:

Huh? Quit to make an assumption.

Is it crime to search the google to find out about race question? The link, I found sound sense because the author of link added many links in his website.

Yes, I am aware of his political views over Obama in several threads but his view over race question has nothing do with his political view over Obama issues here. Right?

The author of the link, I showed you is Bob Curtis. Bob Curtis is his real name. I see nothing wrong if he choose to use "Soda Bob" as his screen name like we choose our screennames as Jiro and Liebling... I can´t see why you have the problem with his werid screenname since we already have some ADers with their werid screennames here... :dunno2:

To me... hes black. Its not like he bleaches his skin like Michael Jackson just begging to be white or something.

 Yes, Jillos and Jiro are correct that Michael Jackson has a skin disorder called Vitiligo but he is happy with his skin... :dunno2:

He admitted in his TV interview that he obsessed with faical plastic surgery.

Yes it's a crime to many to post INCREDIBLE source to back one's claim. It does not matter if the author included many links to his site. It's the quality of his article. Like I said in other thread - anybody can use the same links/source but difference is - they use same links/source for different view. Any educated person can easily tell this "Soda Bob" article is outlandish.

Please use google carefully.

This is a pic of me as a child. See the patches of white showing on knees, elbows, and hands? And the darker surrounding skin tone?

Compare that to the extemely pale skin tone in the pic I posted from the Obama rally.

wow, interesting picture... Yes, my few friends have similar as yours. Yes I didn´t notice that you have very pale skin but thought it´s senstive skin when I saw picture of you on Obama rally at other thread. :ty: for share interesting picture... You look cute with your tiny height when you were a little girl.. and still same at Obama rally.... :D

OK - so by going with your logic.... what if another person from another forum used XBGamer's post as "source" to back his claim about Obama?

Soda Bob.... FYI - he's not a political scientist nor any expert in any such matter. It's funny that you prefer to believe him over mine. Maybe I should make my own post online and include many links that a race question on U.S. Census is NOT racist. I'll call myself as Dr. Jiro. :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

oh so im basically supposed to go around and make sure i have 100,000 black people in my back pocket who can vouch to that. I have to have Jesse Jackson validate my statements only to you to make it justifiable. Brilliant, just brilliant. If you dont like what i say then too fucking bad.

What you said is similar to what someone says after they're caught doing something racist: Oh, by the way, I have black friends and I am not racist, despite my actions to the contrary.

keep trying chief. I really appreciate your dedication in trying to figure me out.

Did Michelle claim that has some white ancestors? when last time she annonced " I am proud of america and country"? Why she attended the pure black church and her pastor preached hate and judge on white america for 20 years? Umm

I mean she might not know that she has white ancestors or not unless she had her genealogy done. It is very difficult for an African-American to do the genealogy because of the slave records don't list the slaves by name, just by age and gender.

Now and then, a white man would be surprised to find out that he is not 100% white when he/she had DNA done.

According to the article, in America, we are still following the one-drop rule so if a person has a black great great grandfather but the rest of the family is white, is that person considered black? Would that person have to fill out the African-American box or it doesnt matter? I am trying to understand the one-drop rule and if it still matters in today's time or not? Can my son put down white even though he is half black or does he have mark the box identifying him as an African American cuz of the one-drop rule? Just curious.

Interesting on how the discussions in this thread turned out.

The point of the thread is about the one-drop rule and why is that a rule?

The one drop rule can get confusing. Especially when culture enters into the actual bloodline determinations. Because the Jews figure bloodlines, matrilineally, I am considered by Jewish people to be Jewish, even though my mother was half Jewish and Half African American. She was also considered by the Jews to be Jewish because it was her mother that was Jewish, and her father who was African American. The African American side of her family considered her to be Black, because they figured bloodline patralineally.

Personally, I check "other". I am not exclusively one or the other, but am a mix of my mother's Jewish/African American heritage, and my father's caucasion heritage. I choose to accept all of them.

What happened to the water when you add a drop of black ink to it? The whole water is discolored. Perhaps that is why they considered a person with a black great great grandfather to be 'ruined'.
I wonder what my two biracial relatives really think of themselves as when they get older.

This whole discussion reminds me too much of the German obsession with "Jewish blood" during Hitler's reign. :cold: The Germans had all kinds of detailed "scientific" charts for determining the Jewishness of someone, which they used for evil purposes.

You don't leave much to "figure out". :P j/k

And in case you were wondering, I've seen politicians that are definitely more racist than anyone on here that I can think of.
