lol Michael Jackson has a skin disorder called Vitiligo.

it was known in the late eighties he did certain things to "bleach" his skin, making it look lighter.

please educate yourself on what makes it discrimination/racist or not. Not knowing the distinctive difference of those is nothing but ignorance. I'm ignoring all of your posts because it makes no sense at all so I'm giving you another chance to redeem yourself.

Excuse me please, I know what is a positive questions I want to ask about... I can share my "shock" after learn about race questions... I can´t see sense why you create another thread "Culture/World" when you don´t like my questions..? or offend over my questions or view? Unfortunlately, you denied it and call website, I posted is dumb and think you know everything..., not Americans and provoke/belittle some ADers (look at your own post toward XBGMER) posts instead of try to positive answer to their questions. You always made nonsense questions to provoke me and ADers..

Take an example of Jillio´s and Cheri´s positive posts...

btw - to answer your question.... yes they will hire me regardless of answer to race question. Like I said repeatedly - sometimes there is a word next to race question "OPTIONAL." But the question does have "PREFER NOT TO SAY" checkbox.

Please re-read my post... Is it harm to response to question you where you referred "Optional" ... I assume that you don´t know what you should answer all of my questions... that´s how you pick an excuse to say that you ignored my questions... It´s bad that you don´t like my questions.

I know what I am asking but what you think is not my problem... The fact is you can´t accept my IMO over race question. This is my opinion. Get it?

again - please educate yourself on distinction of discrimination and racist. This is what happened - you and XGAMER said the race questions on form are RACIST and DISCRIMINANT. Other AD'ers and I have explained you what's racist/discriminant and what's not but you keep on going that it is racist to you.

get it?

Michael Jackson has a disorder known as Vitiligo. Vitiligo results in the progressive loss of pigment. It is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the melanin producing cells as foreign bodies.

The general progression of loss of pigment is to develop white, depigmented patches beginning at stressor points on the body. The margins of these patches progress outward, resulting in more and more loss of pigment. Total loss of pigment can be anywhere from 1 or 2 patches to 100% loss of pigment. Accepted dermatogical treatment is cosmetic in nature, and involves bleaching the remaining pigmented areas of the skin to produce an all over even skin tone. The only alternative is the huge patches of depignmented skin. However, bleaching is not done until the patient has only 10-20% of their pigment remaining, usually in places located on the trunk of the body.

Bleaching is not done simply to lighten the skin, but to even out the extremes in pigmentation caused by the disorder.

Actually, dead money, I have the same disorder, and therefore, and very well informed about it. Guess you just aren't in the mood to learn anything today.

How in the world do you make that illogical leap from medical treatment for a disorder to not caring about his Black roots?

ouch don't be mean. google it and it's exactly same thing. She's just doing you a favor by posting it in AD. :cool2:

I've actually lost all of my pigment. I was much darker skinned as a child.

This is a pic of me as a child. See the patches of white showing on knees, elbows, and hands? And the darker surrounding skin tone?

Compare that to the extemely pale skin tone in the pic I posted from the Obama rally.

haha theres no point getting in a pointless argument. I know what i know, you know what you know. The guy resents being black though, ill leave it at that.

Nope. A cousin. Actually we are the same age within a month. I've just always been small.

Asking the question is not discrimination. Refusing tohire someone based on their race is discrimination. But think about it. If someone wants to refuse to hire someone based on race, chances are their race will become known when they show up for the face to face interview, no matter what they answered on the written application.

:ty: for response my post.

Yes, you are right that ask the question is not discrimination. Yes I am aware of racism is a form of discrimination if they refuse to hire you due your race. It´s my question why do race question is important to them? Is it important to know about our race? To me, it´s important to know your education skill than worry about your race.

Because he has an autoimmune disorder, he resents being black? That's quite a leap.

Please see my posts above. I've answered your question MANY times.

No - DM's saying that he resented being black so he resorted to bleaching his skin.
