Obama burns!

That's of interest. So then this wasn't intended to be a protest against Obama?

I guess not! it's opposite of what kokonut said.

No, I get the impression that this is a commercial venture for the artist. He's getting a lot of media attention and he hopes to sell the piece.

Your idea of “facts” and mine seem to differ greatly. From what I have seen, Koko posted plenty of facts that don’t seem to fit your agenda, therefore you discount them as false.

Hmm. You haven't seen others refute his facts then. He tends to pull them from sources that are quite questionable and his " facts" do not always support his views so others are left wondering if he even read what he posted.

I'd take everything he says with a grain of salt. I'm not like this with all conservatives - just the ones who have demostrated a less than honest approach to debate. Koko has no intention of debating others unless it's to browbeat others into accepting everything he spouts off.

I'd cite a partial list of his posts and I will do so but I have errands to do.

This is a little off topic, but I did give GWB a chance. Unfortunately, he failed big time. Now it's time for Obama to pick up the pieces of what GWB left behind.

I had respect for Bush even though I didn't often agree on everything he did before Iraq and Katrina. I don't envy Obama the job he has taken on.

I don't even take it with a grain of salt. I just lol'ed because it's more comical than tabloid newspaper!

He will probably have a better chance of selling it with the negative attention it is getting from Fox news or other conservatives media.

That's true. When they attack a book and say don't read it, I go out and buy it immediately.

Love Mae West, wonder what she would have said to Kokonut? Whatever it would have been, it would have been fun.

Heh how about this quote from Mae West? He's the kind of man a woman would have to marry to get rid of.

Chinese fired up over Obama's visit | www.azstarnet.com ®
Strangest is the burning Obama, tucked away in a Beijing warehouse. Artist Liu Bolin hopes Obama can take time from his visit to drop by.
"He's so hot right now, so I wanted to translate that through my work," said Liu, who was inspired by the idea of the first black U.S. president.
The bronze Obama bust is modeled on Time magazine's "Man of the Year" cover and is speckled with holes for gas that ignites every couple of minutes.
It's a positive work, Liu said.
"Yes, setting something on fire can have negative connotations, but this piece represents energy and life that Obama has given to the world," said the 38-year-old, who made a similar piece for former revolutionary leader Mao Zedong.
