Yeah... and if it wasn't backed by Ethiopia, that parliament would had of fallen apart by now. It's still considered as anarchy because of the lack of control over the country.

:)

Ah thanks for the info..

Looks like Somalia is trying to establish some kind of "normalcy".
Somalia (10/09)

Yet with Democrat-controlled Congress continuing spending spree doesn't help our debt where we owe already $12 trillion dollars. Whenever we go beyond our collected tax revenues amount we end up borrowing elsewhere to add to the $12 trillion from previous years added to it. Spending an additional $1.4 trillion dollars over budget this year is financially reckless. The people of the United States are realizing that reality where we will be so hamstrung on paying interests into the hundreds of billions of dollars a year will only cause the U.S. to go deeper into debt much faster. And we can see why people are not seeing Obama in a very favorable light because of their perception of his dishonesty.

(chuckles)

Oh how little you know about Canada.

I'd never presume to tell the Canadians that I know their country better than they do.

I get the feeling that if you don't agree with someone like koko, you'll be considered a socialist or worse.

Doesn't affect me. I don't have a BC Healthcare card. I got private insurance.

This however:

is false. My family can testify to that. And so can a few religious orders.

Beside, Canada is re-vamping its public healthcare to make it more efficient.

Beside, the group of people you targeted in the article is more screwed in the States because they can't AFFORD the insurances they NEED, whileas here... it depends on how long the waiting line is.

Wow, interesting post. :)

Here's a list of socalist countries for those who are interested. Source is AC (Associated Content).

Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, China, Vietnam, Syria, Belarus and Sweden are listed as socialist countries. Perhaps someone can show me where to find Canada among the socalist contries?

The Value of Daily Tracking

It’s not unusual for politicians to react to polls. I’ve certainly seen it many times over the years, particularly when elected representatives or candidates are confronted with poll results they don’t like.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked Tuesday about Gallup Daily poll results showing a drop in President Obama’s job approval rating. According to news reports, Gibbs responded with some critical remarks and unusual analogies.

I’m certain Gibbs didn’t intend to impugn the value of presidential job approval polls in general. It appears he was reacting more to the fact that the president’s approval numbers are not stable, but, in fact, in a period of some change. More specifically, Gibbs was reacting to our report Monday highlighting the fact that, while there was a short-term positive uptick in Obama’s job approval ratings after his Afghanistan speech last week, his ratings through the weekend fell back.

But this type of movement is the nature of the beast. Gibbs said that if Gallup were his EKG, he would visit his doctor. Well, I think the doctor might ask him what’s going on in his life that would cause his EKG to be fluctuating so much. There is, in fact, a lot going on at the moment -- the healthcare bill, the jobs summit, the Copenhagen Climate Conference, and Afghanistan.

We live in a representative democracy. Our politicians are accountable to the people. Certainly the accountability that matters most is on Election Day. But keeping tabs on the people’s views of their elected representatives between elections is vitally important – and something in which the people of the country are demonstrably interested. We at Gallup are fortunate to have the capability to interview random samples of Americans on a daily basis. This helps us closely monitor the ways in which presidential actions are being received by the national constituency.

Of course, it's not just Gallup that finds this important. I’m sure the White House was just as interested as we were in how the president’s major speech at West Point last week played to the American public. Our tracking helped provide the answer.

Kind of funny how Gibbs threw a little hissy fit over the latest job approval polls.

Polls isn't the absolute answer. It is a mere measurement, location of where poll is taken vary. Like they taught in college Critical Reading/Writing, polls doesn't express 100% of population's true opinion. If most of us missed that poll, then does it indicate population's true intention?

Stop beating around the bush dude, your opinion is like a little boy in small circle of friends that supports you in world that doesn't.

lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol people - see? why do you even bother participating in kokonut's threads??? You should know by now that you are encouraging kokonut to continue on rambling!

stop FEEDING your hate to kokonut! Simply LOL @ his newly-created threads and ignore it! Check his profile and look at some of his threads he created. He just leave it alone when nobody participated in it. And then he will just keep making new threads until you get angry enough to post in it.

he posted exactly same threads in other forum and it only got 3-4 same responses that agree with kokonut's view. BORING! so he comes here to make trouble because he gets off on it. don't FEEEEEEEEEEED him! :cool2:

Where's my nuke button?

And isn't most of his topics he re-posts here are merely just originally by user named "Sherry"?

Polls are day to day occurrences. It's the trends that are important that can tell where things are heading, good or bad. So, it's a good idea to combined various polls from various sources to get a better overall picture as seen in Real Clear Politics where 8 different polling sources (Marist, Gallup, Rasmussen, CNN, USA Today, Foxnews, CBS News) show an average of 48.6% disapproval rating among the 8 polls results.

So much for "thinking outside the box."

Rather it's the problematic issue of sticking one's head into the sand thinking nothing wrong is going on. People sense something is wrong, hence, the continuing cratering of Obama's polls.
