McDonalds to hire 50,000 workers in one day

It is about time they did something about it, and I am sure there are plenty of illegal immigrants work for big companies right now. It is time to clean up.

It is really meaningless to me.. Did you know there are over 13,800 restaurants across the United States (Google it and you will see that answer), and they open new restaurants on average of every 4 hours. So, if you do the math, 50,000 would mean only 4 new hires for every restaurant and that is enough for just ONE on each shifts for them.

Cough cough that is nothing.

yup they opened one recently up north of here. its brand spanking new for that town.
 
Large companies hiring illegals? It's been going on for decades. This is nothing new. What's new is the fact that now the government is taking note of it and cracking down on illegal immigrants using falsified documents to gain work in the United States. The reason? The economy is so bad that there isn't enough jobs to go around for everyone. If the illegal immigrants were expelled more American citizens would be able to find much needed work. It's also cheaper for companies to hire non-citizen workers. Non-citizen minimum wage is lower than that of citizen minimum wage. Many illegals are willing to work for next to nothing and they have the added benefit that they are not required to pay taxes or to have taxes taken out of their paychecks. So what they make is what they bring home. The only taxes they are required to pay are property taxes if they own property and sales tax on anything they purchase.

Yeah, very sick thing to do. That means a huge hole in tax revenues because there are so many illegals working and not paying their taxes. in the US. They are not worthy to live here if they don't pay wage taxes. They take advantage of our roads, our country, etc.
 
Exactually why we need a FLAT TAX and not a national income tax (IRS). It is 100% fair because there is no loophole and EVERYONE pays the same rate. Say a poor guy goes out and buys a new Chevy for the least he can afford, $14,000 with a tax rate of 11% (whatever is set up) then his tax is $1540. Then say a rich guy goes out and buys a fancy expensive sport car for $140,000 (a kick in the bucket for him) his tax is $15,400 this is a fair example of those who earn more pay more amd those who earn little pay less tax but still shows a tax that is equal for everyone.

I informed my son, who is 16 about this...he's gonna go and fill out an application this week. He's applied to a lot of grocery and fast food places for part ime work, no luck yet.
 
That is for worldwide. Im speaking for the United states. If you re-read carefully, I clearly said across the United States which does not mean worldwide.

If this number is true for United states alone then it is even more of laughable joke anyway... with 37K means around 1.25 new employee for each restaurant!

And don't tell me Im wrong cause I googled it up before I said anything and yes, I research before I made the comment.
