I know that lot of hispanics come to California and Texas even Arizona, too. California's population still growing because of mostly international migration. The internal migration is down.
 
Our Hispanic population has been growing steadily here sine 1996. It exploded after 1998 and now our local school district is 51% Hispanic with about 20% of those being non-English speaking students.

Citizens of the United States are given equal pay for equal work. That's also a fact.

Also, I never said that all illegal immigrants always accept low wages. The majority do.

Do you have a link that supports this? Care to explain how a couple of dollars an hour offsets the thousands spent on educating their children, much less all of the other social services??? Many are arguing that fuel costs are rising here due to demand....what about the demand of the extra 10 million people who are here illegally?? What about the cost of detaining those who commit crimes? What about additional public services that are needed for illegals,Fire, Police and Ambulance?

Men and women of any race are guaranteed equal pay for equal work. This should not even be debated (it's also off topic). But I do think I understand why you debated it. You misunderstood me. By "equal pay for equal work", I was referring to the fact that Americans who work in the same company and provide the same services are paid the same salaries. You thought I meant that people were paid according to their workload, didn't you?

Considering your interest in the subject, I'm to assume that you enjoy reading about America's issues regarding illegal immigrants, so of course you must have links to back up what you have been saying... Or is it all based on "first-hand knowledge"? :)

My dad used to own a construction company too.

A lot of AMERICAN families use to own small businesses too .... I do not understand the argument from those who say illegals are doing the work that others refuse to do.

Perhaps it is best stated that illegals took the bread and butter from AMERICAN families that used to do what they now have stolen.

I think that would be the best description of what has happened. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. My father was not able to work for $2 an hour then leave to go to another country and spend all his money there. Then, come back and do it all over again.

Employers who knowingly hire illegals are worse than the illegals.

Doesn't that apply to all children, illegal or not? I see your point, though. However, illegals are large corporations' dirty secret. Without them, more jobs would simply be outsourced.
Anyway, I know a couple people who were hired by McDonald's yesterday. They are not illegals, but they are in their fcrties and complained about having to take orders from a nineteen year old crew leader, lol.

Yes that is the cost for each child. But you see what I am saying. I agree outsourcing would be the next step for some jobs. I am on record ( :lol: ) saying we have to come up with a way to tax companies that outsource jobs. Look what Amazon.com does to us......not good.
