Yup, texting ban law isn't work because of hard to enforce and there's very little evidence, only cell phone and no others.

For texting ban or without texting ban law, insurance will still jacking up if you are involve into accident due lacks of attention by use cell phone, regardless on with or without law, at least, reason of driving accident.

My views is heavily libertarian, I don't support seat belt law either.

Even with the knee-jerk reaction that has been deployed; perhaps the resource of the money is not the answer to everything when there are a lot of people out there that could possibly just simmer it up one way or another.

Yes I am aware that the legislation process is very dense and sensitive but what's the point of getting there when we know we can't exactly count on one to come through? That's the oxymoron of it.

With this DWT Law, It could be enforceable if one were to do texting; Stricter Fines and many more could have come in play with this. Only the idiots out there would not care less if a life was lost which is sad.

Stricter fines and laws already exist. It's also punishable by prison time and/or suspension of license and/or permanent revocation of license. I'm OK with passing this DWT Ban Law but I'm simply arguing my case that this whole attitude in fixing the problem is simply wrong and misguided.

"Cell phones" was around in the 80's but most was over the business band radio. I remember seeing the dial button on the hand mike.

Sweetie, I've traveled across country, and up country, and down country more times than I can count in 38 years. I have yet to see a trucker standing up and dancing. I have, however, seen numerous drivers of automobiles doing extremely stupid things.
