Jury recommends death sentence for Cleveland Serial Killer

Does not matter even if 100% for sure. video camera can be easily "Photoshopped"

what about the murderers who are guilty beyond reasonable doubt? such as... a video camera CLEARLY identifying murderer brutally murdering a person?

See my point? If the execution were illegal, we won't have that issue at all, plus they will have chance to appeal.

Jiro, the problem is that when you have death penalty, you decide if a person deserves it or not. And as we know from history, whites tend to get away with death penalty while more blacks get it. That creates injustice.

See... this exactly illustrates the problem with death penalty... those convicted white killers are walking free... they killed three boy scouts children... think if they were black, they'd be walking free? Nope, more likely be executed.

'West Memphis Three' -- Convicted Of Killing Boy Scouts -- Free After Serving 17 Years In Prison

Let's assume that your Mother/Father or even your child/children were murdered before your very own eyes...you saw it happen....it not only traumaized you, to a point where the incident will never be erased from your mind.....it took away something that was held most precious by you....

The jury and even yourself feel the death penalty is indeed justified....what's wrong with that?

There are some people that call themself "humans", which are in fact, just rabid animals who feel no remorse and have no conscience. Our prisons are overflowing. We are still feeding and housing these convicts. For what? They are still polluting our air that we breathe....we're still feeding them 3 meals a day, giving them medical attention when they need it, a warm and cool cell to sleep in....when there are other homeless people who don't even have that!

that's why I prefer to narrow down the scope of death penalty for only something so heinous.

I bet that Jeffrey Dahmer really wants to be executed in the first place. He does not want to spend rest of his natural life in prison. He succeed that, how? He repeat asking to place him in general prison population. He knew he will get killed down there and sure enough he was right. I wish that he stays in solitary confinement.

Mr. Dahmer's first year in prison had been spent in protective isolation, away from the general inmate population. But in the last year, Mr. Dahmer and the prison authorities had deemed it safe enough for him to be integrated into the general population of 622 inmates.

He never told me he was afraid," said Stephen Eisenberg, a lawyer representing Mr. Dahmer in several civil suits filed by the families of his victims. "This shouldn't have happened. Wisconsin does not have a death penalty."

he was serving 15 consecutive life terms. Dahmer wanted to be in general population so he could give :bj:

Stop with the confusion. Thanks.

You are sicker than Jeffrey Dahmer

You believe that? LOLOLOL

Reality, in prison system, those who are sex offenders are at high risk of being beating up or get killed. Especially when sex offenders offense minors, majority of prisoners wants to kill them. Why? Many of prisoners stuck in jail can't protect their own kids and when they hear a guy who had sex with little boy or girl,. they do get pissed off easily knowing they can't protect their own kids. More of revenge in general.

Have you ever asked why he was in protective custody in the first place? Cause they (Authorities) knew he will get killed in general prison population, and there is no deny about it and to prove it, he was killed in general prison population. Read in red font in your post, he was never afraid and what does that means? What it really means that he is not afraid of getting killed in prison and he knew it. Simple as is. Which part of this you don't understand?

Prison Is 'Living Hell' for Pedophiles - ABC News

I can add another example Zacarias Moussaoui who was convicted to conspiracy in terrorist (9/11). He did expected that there will be death penalty imposed on him. He was shocked that he didn't get death penalty and got pissed off. He was even pissed off more when he was sent to ADMAX (Administration maximum prison).

My point here is

Justice is not accurate, there is flaws in the system. Because of that, why execution should be legal? My point is once executed, that soul has lost every rights even though that soul may never committed the crime and that is a MURDER because that poor soul never committed a crime where 12 assholes thought he is guilty.

Lastly, we are not GOD and we do not have right to end others life, which part do you don't understand?

We have a right to lock up (torture) some poor innocent soul 24/7? Because of 12 people thought they were guilty?

This is what I am understanding. You like the life term more than the death sentence because you think it is more of a punishment or Justice to have a person rot in a prison cell. This is what I am getting from reading your post.

You enjoy seeing inmates being tortured in a jail cell than them getting executed.... so they can RIP.

another post showing that you are in favor of torture.

Im not speaking fgr rights. It is much safer that way knowing that we won't kill innocent person.

There is major difference between lifetime confinement and execution. The difference is simple, lifetime confinement has chance to prove innocent while execution terminates that chance permanently.

Just think this way, if 12 juror made mistake thinking they are guilty and executed the innocent one, how can they get that innocent back? The innocent families suffers even more (Fair? You decide). While 12 juror made mistake and declined the death penalty, then that person has chance to prove later on.

I'm speaking for murders, serial murders and mass murder up including pedophiles. I'm not speaking for low end criminals like thieves (Perfect example Bernie Madoff) that really don't deserve 100% solitary confinement. You see, punishment needs to fit in crime but without execution. When a person takes away others life, why they still deserve with somebody else? They took others life meaning they do not care about human being at all why they should be around human beings?

My point is... You my friend.. Enjoys to see a person convicted suffer a lifetime in a prison cell instead of the "easy" way out. Execution in YOUR eyes is the easy way out.

My point is how can a person oppose the death sentence but is all for seeing a person rot in solitary confindmentn with no outside time. See my point? Kind of sadistic if you ask me.

I don't see your point. Execution is easy way out for them. WHILE victims didn't have chance to get away with it. These murders are sadistic, period. They deserve punishment fits in their crime. Isn't serial killer a sadistic?

I opposed death sentence for two reasons. First, there is flaw in justice system and we can't afford any mistakes. Second, with death sentence, they only suffer less than a minute before they turn themself into "Rest In Peace" without any suffering afterwards.

I wanted to add this, what I really don't understand that they are deeply opposed to self-assisted sucide, do not believe in this. The DA actually said that it is murder. What is the difference with those who committed crimes and still ok to be executed? This is really conflicts in society perspective.

Execution is not a fast and easy way out as you percieve it to be. It is long and take years and years with appeals and protocols to follow. They do not suffer less than a minute.. It is a very long process...which is why the death sentence is more expensive than a life sentence for an inmate.

For your amusement.. Death row inmates are locked in a 8x8 cell in solitary confindment. They get limited outside time.. in which they are locked in a cage outside for rec.. by themselve, alone with no other to "play" with. During this time they are appealing and waiting. I'd though you might enjoy that one.

This news may/may not make anyone happy but nevertheless falls within the scope of discussion here.

In TEXAS (of all states!!) an San Antonio judge has sentence a guy to 220 years in prison (just to be sure there is no typo/mis-read, that is two hundred and twenty years). The crime commited is 22 counts of child (between 5 and 13 years old) pornography and molestation/rape. The D.A. said of the guy: "He is an active sexual predator." Which, to me, says they are certain he will continue harming little children.

"It's pretty much ruined my life," one of the victims related, explaining that, among other things, the guy would put cash and lingerie in her drawer for her to wear during the rapes. "I suffer from severe, severe depression. I can't hold a stable relationship with anyone."

Is anyone willing to take a bet that this guy will not die in prison? After all half is 110 years (he is 43 now) and a third is 70+ years. Nevertheless, 22 young girls have had their life "pretty much ruined" by him. IMHO, he does not deserve one more breath of fresh air.

Understood your suffering and pain. That is why I want to see those who did these horrible and hindeous crime PAY for it BY suffering three times more than these victims have suffering.

I hate so much that victims tend to be forgotten or ignored.
