and they love you and care so much about you.

I don't believe in God? Well that's news to me! Just b/c I don't go to church and don't follow an organized religion, it doesn't mean that I don't believe in God. It's just that I don't believe in the fundamentalist, evalingcal version of God. I believe that Jesus was a Teacher, but I ALSO believe that Christianity is NOT the ANSWER to Life, The Universe, and Everything!
Other relgiions have teachings and Teachers of value as well.
My soul has already been saved...... I accept Jesus' Teachings....but I also don't believe that Christianity is the ONLY ONE TRUE religion.
Do NOT judge. Jesus was a Teacher, but He is one of MANY....

I could never stop being bi....It is who I am. All it means is that I have the capabilty to fall in love with females as well as males.
Jesus would NEVER EVER say that being gay was wrong. Hey, He NEVER said that it was, in the Bible! Don't you think that if He'd viewed homosexual love as a sin, He would have come right out and said so Himself?

Cheri!!!! Very good one... That what I have been saying Do not judge on others.. All my life, I have been judged by my own family, & relatives & friends.. I am exhausted being judged.. therefore.. we are all sinned anyways.. that what Jesus live on cross for us (our sins)..

Also, myself have been debating about "judging on others or judge on anything" all my life.. so there nonetless for me to say more....

There are churches and deonominations which accept GLB people openly....Quakers, Unitarians, Church of Christ.. There's even a specificly gay Christian Church...the Metropolition Community Church.There are also TONS of mainline deonominations that are being split by arguments and debates on the homosexual issue!

CKFarbes......Back when my grandparents were young, blacks were treated EXACTLY as GLB folks are nowadays.....and look how far we've come since then! Ku Klux Klan type thinking was MAINSTREAM then. So will follow the GLB rights crusade!

Do you walk up to people who are into S&M or furry sex (sex with stuffed animals) or people who use the Kama Sutra and scream and disapprove of THEIR sexual activisties? It's amazing - the topic should be on judgement yet many of you are talking about homosexuality - what's up with that? Has it become a mindset within AllDeaf or what?

Again, this thread is about judging others... and how we tend to judge others by our own mindsets -

You've heard of the statement - "People who lives in glass houses should not throw stones." Take some time and think about that...and hopefully you will understand what I am trying to say.

Remember that God and Jesus love us no matter what we did sin... because they know we beleive them. Yes, they forgive us for our sin and accept us up to heaven when we dies, no matter what we are guilty of our sin or not. Remember that we are not prefect.

I'd say that if that was Jesus' edict in the first place, then we wouldn't be discussing this because it would belong to the natural order of things, tucked into the belief system.

Anyway, back on topic,

My point of this thread is perfectly clear to those who understand why it is necessary to judge others? I've been judge pretty much almost all my life, mostly about my deafness. You know ugly words flying to your face does hurt. If you going to judge someone, sit back and think have you ever been judged by anyone before? How did that feel? I'm sure not a good feeling right? That's my point. ;)

Oh this takes the cream of the pie!!

On a recent trip with a dear friend, I battled issues with my low self esteem and weight as it's no secret that I use humour to hide behind the fact I'm overweight /not purty enough and so on. I shift attention to joking even when my friends don't like it one bit. I was borderline "paranoid" that people were staring at me because of my weight and I made it such a "grandstand" issue. My dear friend actually told me, it wasn't the case because I was judging myself so much that I degraded myself so much that people could easily see how weak/vulnerable I was.

For once I realised people do judge themselves and it isn't necessary to do so.

Cookie Monster, I agree with you. We are generally our own worst critics. Besides, we don't have to deal with the idiots online if we don't want to, we can simply turn off the puter at any time. However, we have to live with ourselves all the time. There is no escape.

MATTHEW 7:1-5:

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
