Joe Wilson Refuses to apologize on House floor

anyway, His motivation to speak out lies is not about race at all, it is about healthcare and gov't controlling our health. We all know we are out of comfort zone because the congress is majority democrats. We have fought against healthcare before.. (as far as I'm concern, FDR wanted national healthcare... so national healthcare issue have been around for a long time) but we know national healthcare is likely to pass because of democrat control house. So of course people will get outspoken than they ever have before. Again, it is NOT about race at all.

You need to realize the fact that Byrd never, ever apologized for his past actions for being a KKK and Kleagle. You use the race card, 20 fingers point back at you. Might want to read a book called "Unfounded Loyalty" and perhaps you'll understand.

And what's the hurry? This health care, if passed, will not be implemented until 2013! Four years from now. This is too important to exclude Republicans out of this health care work. If anything, they should've focused on how to reduce Medicare fraud that runs around $60 billion dollars each year as a start if they're serious about it.

But they are not....it's about power.

Are you sure he never apologized for his past? Uh-uh. Besides, it's completely unrelated to Joe Wilson and what he did.

But of course, you always have to drag the past into here whenever you see the need to even if they don't have anything in common.

Oh he did, many times.

The fact that you refuse to acknowledge that he apologized for his past despite the FACTS IN YOUR FACE shows how delusional you are.

I had my doubts if anybody would actually step up.

Now, that proves a point here. Just because Wilson is from SC does not make him a racist. He apologized already. It wouldn't matter how many times he apologizes it would never be enough (i.e. Byrd's 1000s apologies). Same for Wilson. He apologized. Move on. This has never been about race but people are making this out to be a race/racist issue. This is about Obama's continuing ineptitude and lack of experience, and his continuing misrepresentation of what's in the bill versus what he says. Ya'll need to get away from a mindset that to criticize a person whose skin isn't "white" is not the equivalent of being a racist.

Just as Maxine Waters lay out a barage about the million plus Tea Party marchers in DC as a "racist event." This is getting out of hand and it is the Democrats who are making things worse.

The difference is, Byrd meant it when he apologized. Wilson only apologized because he was told to then took his words back.

Wilson apologized once verbally, and on paper. Obama accepted it. End of story. He never took his word back. Others were saying that he shouldn't have apologized in the first place. Not the same thing. He disagreed with what Obama said about this HR 3200 and it doesn't match what he's been saying.
 
I suppose attacks against Rice, Clarence Thomas, Powell, Gonzalez, Alphonso Jackson, etc.. were the results of Democrats' racist attitudes surfacing to the top then? Not to mention obvious racist cartoons of them?

This report is only 11 pages long...not 1000 pages. I already read it all. Certainly better than to rely on CNN.
 
Addendum, I already read the illegal alien part claim in the bill. There is NO enforcement mechanism anywhere in place such as requiring proof of citizenship. The CRS report backs that up, who are in a much more credible position than you are.

It is very obvious that Wilson's apology was insincere...whereas Byrd's was very sincere.....you seem to be insulting deafies as incapable of reading body language and sincerity in others.

The point is more about people not accepting a black president....not about accepting other leaders. They have come to accept this. But a black prez another story.....but you wish to use this and spin it to something else once again.
